So glad you could use it!! My kids at home love the hymn stories, and our sponsored kids have been enjoying them too.
Thank you for reading! I'm glad they're a help!
That's a really great idea!! Here are a few right now, in case you come back to check comments ;)
I love you.... te quiero
You are loved... eres amado/a (o for boy, a for girl)
I'm thinking of you... estoy pensado de ti
I'm praying for you... estoy orando por ti
Jadson didn't way what he wants to major in, but I did release our contact info and maybe Jadson will get into touch with us! He's such an amazing young man and I feel honored to have been part of his life.
Thank you! I love them too!
I always enjoy reading your posts about your kids!! Sometimes my browser doesn't let me comment, but I always enjoy reading them.
Thanks for the encouragement! We are having so much fun! And maybe you can re-visit these activities with your grandkids ;) My mum is enjoying doing that with us!
I think this is a question that God wants us to wrestle with each and every day.... I have been wrestling a bit with how messy life can be for our Compassion children, since I've been in touch with a graduate from Mexico (and it's been amazing, it really has) but this graduate is going through SO much in her life...so much that just going through Compassion couldn't touch because of circumstances outside of her control. It would be so much easier and neater and simpler to not pursue continuing our relationship after Compassion, to have a neat and "happy ending." But I'm so thankful God led us to pursue continuing to stay in touch with her as her situation has pushed me to my knees crying out to God because I don't see a possible solution. Anyway...I think sponsorship can be one way, but I also think you're right that we can't just stop there and use it as a clean and easy way to show love if we're not willing to give more of ourselves.
I just love seeing how God is using you and your girls to reach the lives of so many. I love your analogy too! It's so encouraging to see you walking through seasons a little "ahead" of me and it's a blessing to see how God is working in and through you and your family in each stage.
