I can totally relate to this. I have certain family members that ALWAYS misunderstand my sarcasm in blogging. I'll get three page emails that lecture me on my "mistake," or "problem," when in fact, I was being facetious. But I guess we all write for a specific audience, and sometimes we take a bullet for that audience.
Yes, you are totally right. Its so much more about the parent's self esteem than it is the kids. Thanks for stopping by my blog! We were thinking the same thing this week!
I would so much rather just take my kids to In n Out over Chilis. Even if a place is "kid friendly" you still have to be on top of it, and for some reason, kids KNOW this. They know they are in a public place, and they act out. Thats the stuff nightmares are made of.
