it's that "near" Goddess thing that really bugs her. I've been a HUGE fan of Selene since she first appeared in New Mutants #9 and loved how the character has been developed into this immortal psychic vampire with delusions of godhood. I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop since she absconded with Wither back in New X-Men #32.

I lost interest around Season 4 but started watching again last season and enjoyed the eps I saw. LOVED Geoff Johns' Legion of Super-Heroes episode and EAGERLY anticipate his JSA episode this season. I think moving to Metropolis and showing us something other than Clark figuring out who the meteor freak is THIS week has taken it somewhere new and I like what little I've seen. I'll be watching season 9.

I was wondering that myself. Anyone know what it is? What kinds of "features" it has? It's much bulkier than the Fleshjack and other similar masturbators so I would it has some mechanized mad skills. Well I refreshed my memory via her wiki, so I know Syd was indeed hit by a car at her own wedding reception (in the original series finale). We know from what Michael said in the new pilot that he helped her fake her own death, but we don't know why... I have a similar memory of good old Kimberly revealing her scar - not many moment like that on TV. Closest I can think of in recent years is sweetly psycho Sharon Gless turning a rival publicist into a beenie baby on Nip/Tuck.
