<description>One of the greatest dangers to the Columbia (&amp;amp; those who depend upon it) is a tritium plume that originates in the central part of the Hanford reservation (near the 200E area, if I recall correctly). Does this mean that the cleanup will focus on dealing with &amp;quot;symptoms&amp;quot;, instead of going after &amp;quot;sources&amp;quot; of pollution? If that&amp;#039;s the case, it sounds like the Dept of Energy is more concerned with being a long-term employer, rather than lead agency of a &amp;quot;Clean up and go&amp;quot; operation.  ^..^   </description>
