Ah, I actually figured this out at a friend's house because her mom likes polish and had both a small brush like this one and a little glass cup to dip it in. My problem, once I purchased both on my own to attempt it, is that the brush seems to collect all the polish and become glooped up. It gets dirty and doesn't do what it should, and then no matter how much I try to clean it, the polish stays in the bristles and when it dries...well, it's pretty much one large, hard bristle now. :/

How do you keep the brush supple and clean?

This is gorgeous and I'm going to try this myself, but I'm a novice so I was really wondering...how do you get the top edge of the polish so perfect? My nails always look cheap to me because the top edge is iffy and looks bad when it starts to grow out (and starts to peel off because bits stick up that were against the cuticle, etc etc.) I know this is an old post, but thanks in advance!
