The 90's as a general rule was kind of like that. Things, for the most part seemed to pick up in the latter half of the decade and have been better since, especially comics. The last 6 or 7 years specifically have been fantastic.
Yeah, that's why I can't really dig DC as much. Nothing ever really matters there and everything eventually becomes status quo. At least at Marvel, the events matter and things change. Maybe not always, but usually a lot longer. Some Marvel things that I think should have not been changed are Bucky and Norman. I know a lot of people like it, but those deaths always mattered. I have a feeling that Norman could be taking a dirt nap this time, but it probably won't be for long. Still, at least Marvel feels more real than DC ever does. I'm rambling.
Yeah, it took me a couple of hours though. I actually had to look at yours to get inspiration for some of the last ones. I'm sure you could see they were similar.
Check out the updated pic to see it is definitely Daken.
Hey, Izzy! I've just been busy with school stuff lately. Trying to finish some papers before next week. I'll have more up soon. I have a couple of ideas for some.
He's a comic book artist, typically covers only. He does a lot of Good Girl art, scantily clad, big breasted heroines, that kind of thing. Do a google search for him and you will find a ton of his pics.
Most of the movies I own or owned, whereas some I had to think up on my own. It wasn't overly difficult, but it was fun. Thanks for the tag.
I love that site and look forward to the new one every time. That being said, I don't get the same feeling out of it I did before. I think they may have burnt out a little and I'm waiting for some really inspired characters again.
Great post! Not sure I'd be interested in any of these, maybe Mouse Guard, but a fun read. I always enjoy hearing about what people like to read and why. Where's part 2?
This is part of the reason I went back to full blogging on Blogger. You can save it as a draft and come back to it later. It's not all or nothing like Tumblr. Tumblr's great, but really for miniblogging more than anything.
