I read Jack's 'The Fear of Fly Fishing ( published 1988) when I was into fishing for trout in the Sandy River along with my husband and another friend. Jack is very funny for sure. One does not have to be into fishing to enjoy his humor!

I just can't do that - read more than one book at a time. Reminds me of multitasking - which I am trying to get away from. I do have to admit - occasionally I will read one of my poetry books to take a break from a novel I am reading.

Thanks for telling us about this. I liked the interview with Matt Gauk alot (also the photo of him on the Oregon coast!). I also liked his drawing of the penguin. Will have to stop by their store in SE and see more of his work..

So far - I liked reading about the company from Michigan that makes special kid-sized, quirky furniture for libraries, and the cover for 'Castles in the Air' with the heroine with three arms!
