This opens up a whole new can of worms. Our HOA consisting of 205 homes had a very active neighborhood watch program coordinated by our board of directors. Even though our neighborhood watch charter prohibited confrontation and only reporting of incidents, our HOA is no longer involved or sponsor neighborhood watch due to the liability factors which arose from this situation. Our neighborhood watch is now a totally independent program still active on an individual basis.
