Running with the Pack Podcast : Running with the Pack 73: Stress, Mountainback, Stevie's New PR, and Biking Adventures

I'm at a 31" waist also so I guess the used cheap one from Brandon is out. I'm doing the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon on 04/25 so I don't think I'll change anything between now and then. But I think I'm going to go with the Fuel Belt as my first attempt after that. It's a less expensive route and since you haven't heard anyone complain about them, maybe I'm imagining something that isn't there. And good luck to Brandon with the Louisville training.

Stevie, thanks for the tips on the Camelbak. Not sure which direction I'll go. The thought of a water on my waist makes me think that the little bottles will be banging against my hips while I'm running. I hadn't thought of the heat trapped on my back with the Camelbak though. Does having Brandon as a tag in the episode mean another drink? And can listeners contribute to the drinking game? If so... Brandon Brandon Brandon Brandon

Hi, Allan and Stevie. Have either of you used a Camelbak unit? Right now I do a one-mile out-and-back for my training, regardless of how many miles. So if I have 18 miles to run, I run the same sidewalk mile 18 times. I do this so I can put my SmartWater bottle at my starting point and not carry a water bottle (it drives me crazy to carry a water bottle). I finally got a Garmin so now I can know how far I run when I'm not in my normal training area. Now I have to figure out how to get the water without carrying it in my hand. Another question is regarding a product Stevie mentioned a few episodes ago. There was some product she used to wash without showering. Could you please provide the product name again? Thank you.
Thanks for the invitation. I'm doing one in Kansas in the fall but I'm not sure about spring 2011 yet. Running with you and Stevie is part of the list.

Sent from my Palm (so spelling and grammar don't count)

Aaaaahhhhh.... Got my fix.

The sound quality was good. I listen in headphones most of the time and I never noticed Stevie's laugh being loud. Her laugh is great though - infectious even through headphones. People probably think I'm nuts when I break into a big grin while running.

If I am a great graphic artist, it's even a secret from me.

Another great show. BTW, I am training for my second full marathon. It is in Oklahoma City on April 25th. I completed my first one on November 8th of last year. It was on my 40th birthday. Now I'm hooked and am hoping to do one in every state, DC and every continent. That should keep me busy and out of trouble for a few decades.

Heath
Sent from my Palm (so spelling and grammar don't count)

Aha. I deleted and re-subscribed. The \"un\" followed by the \"re\" did the trick. Thanks. I will now get my fix.

Sent from my Palm (so spelling and grammar don't count)

I will add to the conversation more often. :)

I tried downloading your latest podcast but I'm getting an error in iTunes. It says it cannot find this episode. I can download other podcasts but not yours. Has anyone else reported problems or am I all alone?

Sent from my Palm (so spelling and grammar don't count)

Hi, Allan and Stevie. I've listened for awhile but this is my first post. The podcasts are great. I've gone over a week now without your voices and I'm having withdrawals. I hope you'll be doing another episode soon. You're both great at sharing your experiences in a way that makes it feel like your listeners are a part of the conversation.
