Despite all the challenges facing the incoming administration, I feel that “Green Transition" is the most vital and that green solutions can and should be embedded in the response to other challenges, especially the economy.

My vested interest in this area is my family -- five children, spouses, and 12 grandchildren. I will be directing all of them to this blog. In respect to my grandchildren, this will be as they become old enough; nine of them are still under eight years of age. Our first assignment will be to read and study the 'Transition to Green' position paper.

And by the way, my family voting block was responsible for 10 Obama votes.
