While true, in wrestling, when you can't breath right, there is a lot that can go wrong. The lack of oxygen can prevent you from doing even the most minor things in the ring, you won't even think about otherwise.

Not supporting either side, but it is well known, Owen tried to leave after Montreal, but Vince wouldn't let him out of his contract. Also it is well documented, he was getting ready to retire, and be a firefighter.

Brock Lesnar won the title in his first 5 months, it is all about build, and Owens is being built properly

Then maybe you should boo him, as that would be respectful for his part.

Attitude had it's moments, but if you go back and watch, almost every match ends in run ins, and short. There were some horrible angles(Choppy Choppy PeePee, sexual chocolate knocks up Mae Young), overall we had some great moments surrounded by crap. Much like every other period since the 80s. Most of us look back on the time we started as fans as the best, because it's what captured us. For me it was the New Generation of WWF and Sting running wild in WCW leading into the NWO. Every time has it's bright spots and some pretty crappy ones, For every Hulkamanic of the 80s, they had to put up with Uncle Elmer, for every Little Stinger, they had to put up with the ding dongs, for every Bret Hart fan, there was Bastion Booger, For Austin and Rock, you had well I already said. Point is, wrestling is basically some bright spots in the middle of a pile of crap. And we all love it.

I can see WWE not knowing about this, I've had arena security confiscate signs as people came in. One was a Piggy Guerrero sign, that was tamer then a lot of stuff you'd see at other events.

Roderick Strong, Nigel Mcguinness, Bryan Danielson, Morishima, Samoa Joe. Are and where all ground based technical wrestlers, yes they have used a lot of high fliers, but they built their rep as being a pure hard hitting style at the top. So, even Aries and Danielson who use more high flying, still had a strong ground game.
