If you're an American, you pay for your childs higher education and you take a job that pays less than it used to because of all the illegals, who will work for less, and then send most of their (our) money back home (not America). This is just more government control. You get an education, you work hard and increase your income, then the government sends your job to china or mexico and you're supposed to work for less. How long has the U.S. had the second highest corporate taxe rate in the world? Did that just happen in the last few years? Let's face it, it is the demoncratic party of socialism that is at work here. Using your argument, that corporate taxes are the second highest, it would stand to reason that, if a company out-sources most of their work because of lower wages in other countries; that corporation will show a larger net income and thus they will pay higher taxes. It would seem to make more sense to pay the American worker the higher wages - a deductible business expense - lowering taxable income and pay less corporate tax. It's called the SELLING-OUT of the Amercian citizen, by the hands of people like slick-willy clinton and his clone (obama) and there is NO EXCUSE for that. ps - We all have to pay taxes, but the government has created such a wasteful system that we have to keep paying more to feed the socialistic beast. That's were the problems lay.
hoosiergiant - Unfortunately, there are not a whole lot of business people like you around any more. Too many - so called - executives waltz into a company that has operated for decades and the first thing they try to figure out is, "How much can I suck out of the business, before I sell it?" Unlike you, they have no regard for the people who actually built the business over the years.
