The only response beyond acceptance of the situation would be ignoring the facts, as one person did to a similar comment I made on this topic. �The individual went on to develop a new scenario for Paul, rather than allow reality to rule.

I make no such supposition. I clearly stated my point, and that was nothing more than Paul didn't say he wouldn't fight the war, only objected to the question asked.

You may find it worthwhile to stop putting words in other's mouths, and refrain from making unfounded suppositions in attempts to support your position.

Most seem to be missing the point. Paul wasn't asked if he would enter the war, as the U.S. did, after being attacked at Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941. He was asked if he would commit the U.S. to war to save the Jews. The U.S. did not enter the war to save the Jews. Nor did the U.S. enter the war when Germany crushed Poland in September of 1939, nor to save the six countries Germany over-ran in three months: Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, and France — and proceeded to conquer Yugoslavia and Greece. No, the U.S. didn't enter the war until we were attacked over two-years later. So, in this case, like him or not, Paul is on the side of history.

Ron Paul did not say he wouldn't have the U.S. fight in the world war. He answered the question he was asked about doing it for Jews. You do realize that the U.S. did not, if fact, enter the war to save the Jews. We didn't enter the war after Germany crushed Poland in September of 1939. We didn't enter after Germany over-ran six countries in three months - Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, and France — and proceeded to conquer Yugoslavia and Greece. No, we didn't enter the war until AFTER we were attacked by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941. Facts matter.

You do realize that the U.S. didn't enter WWII to save the Jews. We didn't enter the war until after we were attacked December 7, 1941, a full two-years AFTER the Germans crushed Poland, then in three months over-ran Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, and France — and proceeded to conquer Yugoslavia and Greece.
