I should further my thoughts by saying ice water is usually free, so why pay for more water... And on top of that it does taste like crap. The lower alcohol is not necessarily great either. If you follow the math, then yes the alcohol to calorie ratio of light beer is good. But I think in practice, most people drink way more light beer to get the same effect of a "heavy" beer. Of course, if we're just drinking for taste, that's all a moot point. Thanks for the feedback.
