After reading several comments something just "hit me" that puts me in FULL FAVOR with having term limits. In prior posts I have read people go on and on about politians who are almost "sure locks" to win every single election. After a while what tends to happen is the people who have the power actually put themselves to sleep by thinking, "why bother b/c so and so is going to win anyways." Can you imagine what would happen to our country if Term Limits were allowed. The people would suddenly "wake up" realizing that each and every single election meant life or death for the future of there states and town and so on and so on. The prospect of replacing leaders every few years would entice politians to work smarter and more focused than ever before but the people would actually stay politically aware with the understanding the each election actually meant something could finally change.

I have noticed that the number of members is slowing down a bit. Please everyone keep up the good work and get the word out to everyone you know. I'm not very savy @ marketing things but is there anything else we can do to draw traffic to The 9:12 Project? We need to keep this wave building.

MY TAKE ON AIG AND ALL OTHER BAD APPLES...
If a company wants to develop a new seperate operation under it's Corp. umbrella, then it needs to form as a completely new and individual company.
Take Wal-Mart...what in the hell are they doing putting a grocery store, bank, eye care center, massage parlour, and Subway all in the same place. Oh yeah, I forgot about the auto center, and clothing industry as well. Now don't get me wrong, I love Wal-mart but our love of convience creates this kind of mess. You would never see Best Buy open a grocery wing inside it's store, but b/c of "ONE STOP SHOP" corporations, Best Buy is in trouble just like Circuit City. Not to mention the small business owner. They don't have a chance!!!
We need to simplify the Corporate "concept" in this country again so that if AIG wants to get crazy with home mortages and asset derivatives then fine, but let them do it seperate from the solid and viable structure of the rest of the company. ONE BAD APPLE DESTROYING THE WHOLE MUNCH...LETS MOVE OUT THE BAD APPLES>

Let me also say that I don't think Wal-Mart is a bad apple...I just use it to illustrate the point that companies who put all there eggs in to one basket are taking a huge risk at toppling the whole thing over.
GE is another example. Solid maker of appliances and energy saving devices, but is now at unbelievable risk of failing b/c of there damn "credit card" division. One BAD APPLE...if companies want to expand they need to expand on there own merits to exist individually.

This idea follows our Principles of equal opportunity does not always mean equal success.

Hey American912...I just want you to do one thing for me. LLift your head up, Look at the amazing outpouring of love and support you have through this site. Don't EVER let anyone tell you that you are ALONE!!! We are all here and we are not going anywhere. What is happening now will cause you to take much responsiblity for your life and your actions, but don't worry b/c just as our founding fathers found the strength inside themselves to do what they did, WE ALL HAVE THAT SAME STRENGTH AND POWER TO DO IT AGAIN!!!

I agree with MillerTime...the ability to think as an individual is what makes us all uniquely American. The major problem is that our point of view is literally being shoved out the door. No place for us at this table. I think it is a freakin' disaster when up and coming teachers like Beperry 1 are "afraid" to actually teach. I'm only 30 years old and I never had teachers hold back on expressing their points of view. Even if I disagreed, their was at least a forum in which "all ideas" could be shared. This is what the left and liberals want from people like Beperry1. They want silence out of them unless you are with them.

Tonight ladies and gentlemen I have just one thing to say. After seeing that the Fed had decided to buy $1 TRILLION in our own U.S Govt Securities I hop eyou all are preparing a "storehouse" of food and supplies b/c our money has been sentenced to the death penatly by our own Gov't. My heart is heavy today but I have hope in the American people that make up this great country. Life as we know it is about to change and survival of the fittest will define the next generation of America. God Bless us all!
