It's interesting that the news feed is now the live feed, and the highlights are secondary. Sounds like a lot of very active users out there.

I'd be interested, but, as Till mentioned, trust would be a big issue. Also, coming up with $400.

I don't think the service itself is any more unethical than a blood test; it's what they do with the data. This, on the other hand, is more of a gray area. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB12343977160307509...

Since they're all about letting users do the work, maybe they can have a user group that vets applications before they go systemwide.

I think the trick would be to strike a balance in the advertising - too much may promote a common image (e.g. University of Phoenix) and actually harm the brand. There are def lots of things the school can do to beef up their online presence, though.

Certainly a cool technology. But attach this to all the CCTV cameras here, and add in mobile phone location services, and you won't be able to go anywhere without the all seeing eye watching you.
