I don't know his politics, and that's a good thing. It means he hasn't insulted me even if we disagree on almost everything. His father, on the other hand, ... I can't fault him for being a loyal son. The same is true for Rand Paul. Disagree but don't be disagreeable and I'll continue to watch whatever movie you're in, provided I like the movie's plot.

I watched it for a few weeks last year but was turned off by the continuous mean-spiritedness. When I don't like the host, the show is done.

Not often heard, but the film has been accused of racism - Jar Jar against blacks, Viceroy against Asians, Watto against Jews. Watto especially since in addition to the accent he has a hooked nose. Even I couldn't help notice when I first saw the film. Intentional or not, it's there.

No Brendan Fraser? I'll pass.

Josh Hutcherson is still a kid? Teenager, yes, but still a kid? He's been a non-obnoxious child actor (i.e. he can actually act) for a while now. I'm curious as to when he'll finally get roles as an adult. Interestingly, while I'm sure he's known in Hollywood casting circles, he hasn't reached public fame. Maybe that's on purpose to keep him from experiencing Child Actor Syndrome when he reaches adulthood (see Dana Plato, Lindsey Lohan, Todd Bridges, etc.). Will he ever become a Celebrity?

I know how they can make the film allowing for lots of shooting and killing bad guys without any Liberal guilt. The hero will be a black man taking revenge on the white racists who killed his wife and raped his daughter. Bonus if they can get a cameo of Tawana Brawley.

What are the odds there will be a reference to Bernhard Goetz, and it will not be flattering?

I don't mean to typecast, but "Ricky Linderman" was my childhood hero. Steve Austin and Captain Marvel had their place, and I was a young Trekkie (still am), but Linderman was more real, not that I could understand the concept at the time. Let's just say I wished I had a Ricky Linderman before high school. No matter what other tv show, tv movie, or cinema Mr. Baldwin did, I knew everything would be alright because "my hero" was there. I haven't seen everything Mr. Baldwin did. Sorry, I wasn't a fan of Firefly, but I was always glad when he did show up. Even the audience literally cheered upon his first appearance in "Independence Day". To this day I'm still upset he played the bad guy counselor in the tv movie "Poison Ivy". I never want to root against Ricky Linderman!

O'Donnell lost me as a fan with her virulent verbal assaults on Republicans. Being a celebrity does not cause you to lose your right to political opinion. I don't care that they disagree with me. I care that they are disagreeable. Support your cause; don't denigrate mine. Oprah urging support for Obama does not bother me at all. Though I was never a fan of Oprah, I don't want to vomit upon mere mention of her name. For Rosie O'Donnell, George Clooney, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Megan Fox, Jon Stewart, etc., ad nauseum, bring on the barf bags.

We need more Adam Baldwin! :)
