Milk is not good for you anyway, Milk causes the intestines to produce mucus. Mucus inhibits the absorption of nutrients your body needs. Ever wonder why the doctor tells you to not eat dairy products while taking an anti-biotic. It is for that very reason. Now your body does benefit from the calcium that milk provides but you are better off eating a hand full of almonds. There is as much calcium in 20 almonds as a 1/4 cup of milk. Plus almonds and other nuts are much better for you overall in relation to other vitamins and minerals. MILK IS OVER RATED!!
Its always funny to hear people complain that the "money always goes to the Football team" Well news flash for you. The money goes to athletics because athletics brings money in. Plain and simple. If more people went to concerts and plays than the money would go to the Music and Drama departments. You may not like it but that is the simple truth.

Great, so people driving through can look at the side of the road and say "wow what a nice place, sure is pretty"!!! what a joke. How about putting that money towards trying to clean the city itself up, maybe start by tearing down the dilapidated wrecks over by Ellis park, or heres a grand idea. Use the money to figure out a way to cut down on the ever rising crime rate that is continuing to rise in this town.
What is wrong with KCRG, Who writes the headlines? Boy are they off sometimes. You open it thinking you are reading one thing and it is a completely different story.
Sometimes the good guys win, What I mean by this is that it is fitting that a story like this gets top billing on a national magazine. It dosnt change what happened but these are the kind of stories that should take the national spotlight. Unfortunate as it may be that this happened I am glad to see the country will now get a glimpse of what is right in sports. It isnt just a game its a way to tackle life. Rest in peace coach, your one of the good guys!!
LOL..Whining about it. For starters maybe you should go back and read what I wrote. Whining is hardley what I am doing. Stating facts would be a more correct statement. And you have no idea just how involved I am on a daily basis with the youth of our town. My initial comment was simply a word to be put out to get the feeling of how certain people feel how about the direction of this town. Maybe a little "whining" as you like to call it is what is needed for this town. I prefer to call it SOUNDING OFF, SPEAKING UP. MAKING NOISE. But do feel free to sit back and "choose" to be content with the way things are in this town. I for one want more out of my community.
So that means your content with the way things are and you think this town is what it should be? Maybe I should, atleast I am smart enough to realize there should be a change and if it dosnt change I have enough sense to move my family out of this hole.
This town is about to the point of not worth it any longer!! No down town to speak of, No one doing anything to make it better. Crime is soaring and what used to be a decent school system (which was about the only reason to stick around this place) is going down hill fast. Maybe someone can answer me this...What makes this place worth it anymore? And please dont say every town has issues like this. Ive lived all over the place, Chicago, towns south of Chicago, San Diego, Hawaii and have been all over the world while serving my country. And not everywhere is like this. Its not just the shootings but its the town in general. Im losing faith that this midwestern, Iowa living is a good place to raise your family. I used to think it might be but that belief is fading fast.
Actually I doubt that this even happened. This was on the NE side of town and nothing bad ever happens on the NE side of town. Surely they got the address wrong it should of actually been on the SE side. You know all the BAD stuff happens over there. Come on KCRG get it right, the safe and secure NEasters are gonna get in an uproar if you start trying to say they have crime on their side of town.
