The wife of the farmer in question is now on the phone to CNN SUPPORTING Sherrod and telling how much Sherrod did to help them save their farm. The family and Sherrod have remained friendly all these years. It's sad that Sherrod, recalling what eventually was a successful struggle to overcome her own racial prejudice is being demonized by people who haven't overcome their own.
