Breitbart.com : Putin says West seeking \'regime change\' in Iran

How much do you want to bet he had his shirt off when he made those comments? That or he had some lackey in the background engineering some sort of "situation" that would provide the megalomaniac with yet another "unexpected" situation to provide his media with even more photographic evidence of how manly he is. Under any other circumstances, someone acting like this, and as incessantly as he does, would invite endless hours of entertainment ridiculing his hyperactive Alpha status assertions through media coverage. But the fact is that no matter how absurd his antics get, one thing is frighteningly obvious. Whether the KGB actually shut down, went underground, or simply took on a new identity, it's very clear that Putin, at least in his mind, never left the world of Cold War espionage. And I think it's something he would very much like to see make a return to reality.

Big Government : Operation Chaos? MoveOn & Unions Move in on Michigan, Ohio Air Times

It's our very own Prypiat. Well, except the fact that the Detroit meltdown was political, rather than nuclear. And the fact that if you don't include the radioactive factor, Prypiat has actually shows less decay than Detroit. But one was due to a huge screw up by a bunch of communists, and the other was due to a huge screw up by a bunch of..... Oh wait.... I'm repeating myself. Nevermind...

And I should add that over the course of it's unfathomably rapid implosion, from one of the oldest and greatest cities in the nation to something that makes Prypiat look like prime real estate, the political positions of power were held by one party exclusively. And we also cannot forget that prior to it's accelerated decay, this was the city that would be used to showcase the progressive "City of the Future". Of course, once it became obvious that the results of this experiment were turning into a huge political liability, the promoters of the "Ideal City" ran as far and fast as they could from it. The corruption continued on almost every level of government with relative impunity, resulting in what we have now. A barren wasteland and a huge burden upon the citizens of the state of Michigan, as well as the rest of the nation who contribute to the blind federal funding it receives. The Progressive model run amok. And if the hyper-progressive buffoon in the White House has his way, a perfect example of what's in store for the rest of the country.

Big Government : Obama Administration Gave Electric Car Battery Maker $118 Million Grant, Company Now Bankrupt

They just think it's something cool from a movie they liked, as you know. So little things, like facts and history, are irrelevant. And considering the general leanings of the academic circle, I highly doubt anyone in the schools will put much effort towards actually informing them. Of course, that's assuming they even know anything about it themselves. It did happen well before the 1960's protest era, which is the beginning of time for a lot of liberal buffoons. History prior to that is primarily understood through the eyes of Hollywood for these people...

Because something like 4 dollar per gallon gasoline is freaking awesome for our economy. And double awesomeness, that gasoline is at the whim of a group of people that pretty much hate us. So a local source that happens to also be a solid ally is a bad thing. I mean, a cricket could be squished during the pipeline construction. That would be horrible. Excuse me, I have to finish installing my Rainbow Unicorn Fart reactor in my car.
Big Hollywood : Your Obama Apologist of the Day: Don Cheadle

Yeah, Don. He did so much to save us from the brink. The economy has been stagnant, unemployment as high as ever(Without considering the people who flat out gave up trying to find a job.), fuel prices are through the roof. Yeah, it's great trying to go out to find a job after you've been laid off for 6+ months. $3.50+ per gallon gas is really convenient when you have little or no income. Needless to say, electric vehicles that cost upwards of $35,000(More than a lot of homes are now worth...) are hardly an alternative. Food prices climbing. An EPA that is determined to do whatever they can to drive energy prices through the roof. A whole list of alphabet agencies with a scandal looming over them that makes Watergate look like a minor hiccup. Then there's the $15 trillion plus in debt we've(As well as any generations to come) been burdened with by a bunch of politicians that continue to spend like drunken sailors on shore leave after a year at sea. And there are so many, many more things to add to the list. Yeah, things are really looking up, you jackass. Yes, there was a mess after the previous administration left. But in the last three years, nothing has gotten better. At best, some things have remained as bad as before, while everything else has only gotten worse. I find that hard to classify as success, even in the loosest sense of the term. And can we please get off the "uncooperative Congress" bandwagon? They had two whole bloody years of filibuster-proof control over Congress, and did absolutely nothing whatsoever. And did you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, the massive defeats the Democrats faced in the last elections were a result of people voting to make Congress uncooperative? Because maybe, just maybe, the voting public did not like the direction that the administration's policies seemed to be taking us? And maybe, just maybe, they made a concerted effort at the voting booths to block or at least hinder the administration's policies? I know this may be a hard concept to grasp, but yes, the 2010 elections did happen. You can pretend to ignore it all you want, but it was blatantly clear that the people spoke. They spoke loudly, and they made it perfectly clear that they rejected the Administrations plans. As a certain someone who shall remain nameless once said, elections have consequences. So quit whining. They had their chance, for two years. Whether it was ignorance, arrogance, laziness, stupidity, or sheer cowardice, they threw that golden chance away. Considering the President's demonstrable lack of anything even resembling a spine, I'd vote for the latter myself, but that's beside the point. The fact of the matter is that they have no one to blame but themselves for wasting their golden opportunity. So quit the infantile and hypocritical finger pointing, and go back to your Hollywood bubble. The majority of the voters did not buy what you all were selling a year ago, and they aren't buying it now, no matter how deep you shovel it to protect your idol in the White House.

Big Journalism : Politico on Pelosi: Daughter's Own Words Are 'Rampant Speculation'

“This may be wishful thinking on the part of a right-wing blog, but it is totally untrue,” No, it is the wishful thinking of almost the entire political spectrum besides those on the moonship of the far, far left that are still completely blind to your pettiness and blatant corruption. “When the day comes and Leader Pelosi’s work is done, she won’t be announcing it there.” Yes, because there is still money to be made and taxpayers to screw over. Insider trading is still legal for those in the great circle, so she may as well stick around until a bill finally passes that ends it. It's not like the people in her district are going to vote her out, so what the heck? May as well milk it for all it's worth. Wow, I just wish she would go away.
Big Journalism : Friday Crib Sheet: CNN Debuts New Show, Sharpton Vs Santorum

I'm sorry, listening to Sharpton is like listening to cats hump outside your window at 3 in the morning on a work day. I can't believe they actually gave the incoherent fool a show. I know they had to pay him off for his "diversity" stamp of approval during the merger, but for crying out loud. The clips of him getting his butt kicked by the teleprompter on an all-too-often basis are immortal nuggets of internet comedy. And even when he gets it right, it often makes no sense as evidenced by the whole "Pie Eating" commercial. I know it's tough for MSNBC with their viewers peaking in the teens on any given night, but considering the mockery Sharpton has single-handedly invoked, you'd think they would rethink that whole situation. It would be more advantageous to just hand him a nice lump sum and shuffle him off the air. But I don't know, maybe he brings in some viewers. Those extra viewers may only be there to laugh, or stuck in the whole train wreck effect he has unwittingly mastered, but I guess they are still viewers. Viewers are viewers, even if they are only there to make fun of the network, and it's not like MSNBC will ever be accused of possessing an overabundance of brains. Or honesty. Or even relevancy, for that matter. So I guess they'll take what they can get. It's not like anything else they have done has worked for them.
