After updating to ultrasn0w 0.92 and MobileSubstrate 0.93xx, my battery life is taking a major hit. Everything off, it still doesn't last more than 8-10 hours on standby (i.e. no calls/texting/wifi usage). I tried to completely restore the phone (not restoring from a backup). However, the problem still continues. I have successfully jailbroken and unlocked my iPhone 3G (sans contract, but still tied to AT&T) to 3.1 You are the savior for those of us who are locked into the devious ways of AT&T :) It has gone without a glitch. The only things that I am noticing are 1. There is no carrier logo/string [I am guessing this should be updated sooner/later] 2. The phone works perfectly. 3.
