We shoot Glocks in competition and the first thing we do to a new Glock it open it up and turn it upside down and dump the guts in the trash. PLEASE don’t assume that Law Enforcement Officer is a gun expert. Department purchases are a financial decision and all that entails for any Government bid.   Glock has the highest Accidental discharge rate for any LEO pistol.

Glocks by factory notice can not shoot Lead because lead fowling can cause high pressures in the barrel.   While many Glock owners state otherwise we can only judge by what the factory claims for their pistols are and separate the myth from the reality.   Glock has been given the opp. To back up the claims of most of their owners and doesn’t wish to do so.

So do not attempt to personalize my view of the Glock we rate them by the factory engineering vs the real world use. A gun that can’t withstand lead build up is in my opinion no worth risking falling in a puddle or rolling on the ground with a suspect getting the gun dirty then trying to fire it. OR in otherwords Practical use worthy.   Glocks issued to foreign military are built different that commercial US sales and manufacturing, for those about to jump to some article about a glock in a foreign country shooting in a sandbox of a living arena.

Glock is now paying the price for making sure their gun was in every movie possible with new laws aimed at Glocks manufacturing using polymers, the first of which being signed by Bush many years ago.

On the other hand the "cost" to treat smoking is only a cost because someone with the same damn mindset decided that for "all" our benefits we should pay for others decisions. How about instead of trying to ban the freedom to choose in all its form, sports, drugs, liquor, dangerous sex, prayer, laziness and the list goes on. How about we ban the governments ability to STEAL money from one person to "treat or uplift" others. Maybe we should have elections stop being about an endless checkbook being fought over by "do gooders" who can't point the light on any good thats been done without harm to others. Stop trying to use government to save people from themselves. There is no cure for DEATH. It will come in some form giving up all the money you ever make in life will not prevent that. Seek help for your projection of impending death and your avoidance of it is empowering dictators.

OK give me some thumbs up for finding this nugget. The Tariff of 1828, enacted on May 19, 1828 (ch. 55, 4 Stat. 270), was a protective tariff passed by the U.S. Congress. If everyone had a million dollars tomorrow who would work for you... The guy with same million bucks? It makes the money itself worthless when it has no wealth earned to back it up. That's why they are telling you this printed money will hit the market like a sledge hammer and cause inflation (the devaluing of money). If a meal cost 10bucks now and you make 20 bucks an hour then the meal costs 40bucks but you make 40 bucks an hour did you get a raise? Trust me when I say they will CALL it a raise in living standards using that same math. give you more money but making it worthless at the same time.

It is estimated that less than 15% of the population participated in some form in the American revolution. Most Government Coos use less than 5% of the population. Health Care. Studies also show VAST improvements in scores for Unisex learning enviroments, Does that mean they will embrace allowing a private school to bring back this type of education without calling it discrimination. I remember in the Navy Women were not allowed to take classes during the Vampire shift (6pm to 6am school) Our scores average was a 91 % versus the days average of 82%. They changed that and our scores dropped. Not that women were dumber just that he/sheing is distraction when it comes to learning.
