Every team, every year will have some significant injury. The teams that succeed are the ones where there remaining players step up to fill the gap. I haven't seen anyone in the Braves lineup step up this year. When Chipper and McCann are out of the lineup, opposing pitchers have nobody to fear. Even with Chipper in the lineup, they'll just pitch around him. Thankfully there is still plenty of season left to be seen. Things may change. Go Braves.
