Breitbart.tv : 'Undocumented And Unafraid' ICE Won't Deport Illegal Aliens Who Shouted Down NC Democracy

The real question is: What if you or I went to Mexico and did the same thing? You would end up in a hell hole jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200. The Ca deficit is primarily a result of CA being a safety net for the Mexican social systems. We educate, house, feed, incarcerate, provide health care, etc for illegal aliens in far greater costs than the benefits they give to society in the way of lower wages and tax collections. Businesses that employ illegals like Chipotle, the construction trade, fast food, etc etc, do nothing but shift the burden/cost onto the taxpayer for social programs. And the current administration enables the perverse system, by ignoring the enforcement of laws on the books. Essentially refusing to deport anyone that hasn't committed a crime other than entering the country illegally, using false ID to gain employment, consuming public services to which they are not entitled, and varying forms of identity theft. Not to mention driving without a license, insurance etc creating other vast social costs not captured in an equation. Since it is projected that the USA will be a majority Latino country soon, with the continuation of such policies, it will be interesting to see how a new Latino Majority will run the new United States of Atzlan.

Breitbart.tv : Prominent Democrat: Legalize Pot

Yes if you legalize pot it will take the profit out of it, as supply will rise and it can be home grown. The Cartel may or may not move into the legal supply business, as they have the expertise to grow it and supply it. But as pointed out, that will be a low profit business, the cartel will turn the focus of its attention to other lines of business, Harder forms of drugs. sales of tobacco. Right now they run lots of cigarettes into Ca and the Mexican packs without tax stamps are sold openly on the streets in downtown LA. The profit is outstanding, and the risk is low and criminal penalties are a slap on the hand. Other endeavors include prostitution and sex slavery, ofter that arises from their coyote human smuggling operations. Women and young girls are often turned out to pay their fares after they are robbed of their funds by supposedly unrelated bandits, but in all likelihood in a set up robbery by the cartel. The organized crime and threat to the Mexican govt is one of the largest threats to the security of the USA. The possibility that Mexico will become finally once and for all a Narco terrorist state is all too real, If the govt is to fall to a narco military dictatorship in a revolution, watch out, as cross border violence and crime will become almost unstoppable short of a war where we invade and root out the infection. It is more likely than you think.

Breitbart.tv : Who Funds #Occupy?

For all the comparisons of Obama to Jimmy Carter, such as Oil crisis, energy crisis, economic mismanagement, and Iranian terror. The more apt comparison is to Richard Nixon. The attempt at, and actual expansion of executive power is outstanding. Just like Nixon Obama has fostered an Imperial Presidency. For a constitutional attorney, he amazes, as he has announced on multiple occasions to to bypass the legislature and co-opt the power of that branch of govt. So given Obama's willingness to step around the law where it is convenient for him, why wouldn't there be slush funds everywhere, that could be funding the Occupy Movement, it is a campaign strategy. The "No One Is in Charge" strategy was learned from the critical mass bike rally crowd to get around the govt permitting process for parades and public events. The govt requires insurance, security and structure, and public discussion to get approval to shut down a street or park for hours at a time--Much less days and months. So why not use social media and tell everyone to show up somewhere and go somewhere. If no one is responsible, no one need buy insurance, no organization can be sued if someone gets hurt or something gets broken. Occupy is just a manifestation of that idea. But as said so often, "Follow the Money" and the truth will be laid bare. It is likely that trail would lead to a spider web of various non profits (often related parties) are laundering money for the true sources of the funds. Forensic accountants and specialists in non profit law would be needed to trace the money back to its source(s). The ability of a conspiracy to stay hidden has an inverse relationship to the number of people involved. Given the size of Occupy, eventually the truth will come out.

It is too late, the stimulus and quantitative easing have debased the money supply. The rise in oil prices is as much related to inflation as the unrest in the Middle East. Given the dillution of the money supply, one can only anticipate higher prices to come for everything. It is not a question of if, only a question of how soon.

Breitbart.tv : Geithner: 'Privilege Of Being An American' Why Rich Need Higher Taxes

Democrats like higher taxes because they just dont pay them.. Githner was found to have not have paid Self Employment tax on his earnings, what makes it worse is his pay was grossed up to compensate him for the self employment tax. Any time the government grosses up pay, they make you sign a sheet of paper wherein you acknowledge your responsibility to pay the tax that you are being grossed up for. Any employee of the IRS and likely treasury would be dismissed and would likely lose their pension, if not be incarcerated for such failure. Instead, Githner gets a pat on the back as the smartest guy, the only guy who can save the economy of the Nation. What do you think a T Man thinks of that?

Breitbart.tv : Offshore Drilling: Candidate Obama vs. President Obama

Your Carter II comment hit the bulls-eye. All one need to do to figure it out is to go back and listen to the ballyhooed Cairo speech at the beginning of his presidency. Like Carter and the Shah of Iran, the next thing you know an ally of the US is out, and a horrible theocratic dictatorship is put in power. We are still paying for that one every day. Obama gives the Cairo speech and kaboom, next the President of Egypt is out, and based on the elections the Muslim Brotherhood is in, and another theocratic dictatorship will seize power, the only question is how much it will cost us. The odds of an Arab holy war with Israel rise every day and so do the stakes with a nuclear Iran in the offing. With Israel as our staunch ally, we could soon find ourselves in the middle of a nuclear holy war. Add to Cairo, Obama's decision to close offshore drilling and give the Keystone pipeline oil to the Chinese, and you have policy that is historically bad, that shows the President and his advisers/followers have absolutely no clue. Too bad we will pay for that poor judgement for many many years to come.

Breitbart.tv : Chris Christie To Warren Buffett: Just 'Shut Up'

You have to realize...Buffett must buy the pap that Corporations are not people. Thus he can completely disconnect his personal situation and "feelings" as a person from what his corporation does. He wants to pay more and be patriotic (Note Judge Learned Hand stated that, :..there is no patriotic duty to overpay one's taxes" But Berkshire Hathaway plays games and negotiates its tax liability down with the Appeals Division of the IRS. Wouldn't you like to negotiate your tax bill down by 10-20-30 or more %? Otherwise how can he have two such intellectually inconsistent positions, he must be a Democrat! But even worse Berkshire Hathaway has in the past facilitated tax aggressive transactions to allow others to get large amounts of money from the Treasury. Look at the SEC filings in the case of transactions related to the TRW acquisition... it is a matter of public record. It is there for any one to see to halt this Buffett BS and the sob story about the poor secretary that reportedly makes over $250K a year and pays a higher tax rate than Buffett.

Breitbart.tv : LA Story: Breitbart Interviews Pot Enthusiast Over Re-Elect Obama Street Campaign

The constitution orginally "disenfranchised" (to use a popular term that is going around now) large groups of people. It really intended that voters would be male and would own property. This would insure that they were properly invested in the country to have a real stake. With the numbers of non tax payers and the race to the bottom ala the Roman empire where the public treasury is looked at as a slush fund for re-election. To purchase of votes. Too many people are not invested, do not have a stake in our country. It is all how much do I get. Not how much do I contribute. JFK: "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. " Try that on your liberal friends. A good example of this is in the public school system. What people get for free is often not valued. The concept of private property speaks to the value that is put on something, one purchases with money and or sweat equity. So why are there some communities with outstanding public schools? Because the parents and children value the education they get. The kids invest their sweat equity to achieve, as is expected by their parents that value the educational opportunity. It is a culture of success. The parents have high rates of volunteerism in the school, to allow more funds to be directed at education. Or man enhancement programs with lower cost to the school district. They also speak with dollars to contribute to program needs. There is investment and stake in the community. Our hemp headed friend is a good example of those that are drains on society. The opposite of stakeholders. Those like our hempster, due to their own self indulgence, only take from society with a constant open hand due to his self imposed disability. Clearly he would be unable to hold a real job, short of a hemp cooperative. And in that case he would help himself and the profits would go up in smoke. Clearly he is on some sort of dole, whether food stamps, disability, welfare, unemployment, or just sponging off relatives. He waits for the next check to buy some blunts and some munchies. Voter ID is designed for just that guy. He would likely not be able to find the place to get a free id card, nor would be able to figure out where to actually vote. He is the walking-talking definition of the Hanging Chad, that should be disenfranchised.

Breitbart.tv : Geithner: It's Fair Top 3% Pay As Much Tax As Other 97%

The original concept of Income tax was a tax the rich scheme. In the first year of income tax only 1% of the public paid any income tax... The 1% sound familiar? In the first year of income tax a full 99% did not pay any income tax... The 99% sound familiar? The Alternative Minimum Tax was originally designed to capture less than 200 millionaires that weren't paying income tax to pay Now the Alternative Minimum Tax due to indexing problems and expansion of the concept of tax preferences to include dependent exemptions and the payment of state property and income taxes (are those some sort of tax shelter? your kid is a tax shelter? Is paying state taxes is some sort of tax shelter?) now captures middle class families with children in high tax states. The IRS taxpayer advocate office has had reform or elimination of the AMT on its list for years and years. Congress says yeah, yeah and gives lip service but is addicted to the revenue flow. This is a separate stealth tax system. The current rant from the left is the Buffet argument that bootstraps the DNC and administration's new tax the rich scheme. Those evil hedge fund managers are taking advantage of all of us by getting their compensation in the form of low tax rate capital gains, Billionaires that pay 15% on income. We must stop them. Tax the rich. Here is the boogie man, poster boy for higher taxes.. that will soon have your picture on it. But who will be captured, dividends will be taxed at ordinary rates.. Do billionaire hedge fund managers only hold dividend paying stocks? Or do many retirees that will soon be squeezed by means tested Social Security payment reductions or increased taxes upon them. Do billionaires only hold capital assets that are subject to capital gains taxes? No all sorts of Americans are subject to capital gains. When you sell your life long residence, you might find you are rich? Or if you cash in the stock holdings in a 401 K, you might find out you are rich. But that is the real concern..any tax the rich scheme will get to you more likely sooner than later. You will be rich, if not today, you will soon be, based on the tax code, be it reformed or not.

Breitbart.tv : Maxine Waters: Don't Let GOP 'Demons' In 'Our Hall'

Note: Maxine Waters faces one large threat, amnesty. Her district over the years has changed to a primarily Latino district as Black Flight to inland empire communities has run unabated. South Central is now a Latino community. Her district is now 47% Latino and only 34% Black, She has maintained her hold on power as a larger percentage of residents are illegal and are not supposed to vote (regardless of voter drives that have resulted in registration of many illegal voters). However, when and if Latino start voting in larger numbers and the percentage of black votes continues to drop, she will become vulnerable based on her myopic view of the world and service to only part of her constituency. She would be most threatened by a Latino Democrat candidate that could attract enough funding to overcome the huge Waters campaign fund and list of patrons she has created by your tax dollars over the years.

Waters’s office improperly worked in September 2008 to press for aid to prevent the failure of Boston-based OneUnited Bank, which eventually stayed afloat with the help of money from the Troubled Assets Relief Program. Waters’s husband, Sidney Williams, had served on the bank’s board. He owned stock in OneUnited that had declined in value from $350,000 in June 2008 to $175,000 two months later and would have been “worthless” without the bailout funds, according to the ethics committee. Waters contends, Politico reports, “that she would ‘never take extraordinary steps,’ to save ‘that amount of money.’” Her concern, she insists, was to help a group of black banks, not simply the one black bank in which she had an interest, and (now quoting from the Wash Post story linked above) she attacked the media for covering her ethics scandals but not her longtime work in pressing for minorities to get more government contracts and other federal aid, which she says was the reason she aided black-owned banks during the financial crisis. As Politico summarized her defense, Waters did not seek special treatment for OneUnited but rather tried to gain access to treasury for an association of minority-owned banks that otherwise couldn’t have gotten a meeting. In other words, so the Waters defense goes, she was simply practicing the sort of racial favoritism that is the day in, day out stock in trade of all Democratic politicians. Indeed, as the Washington Post reports, [e]ventually, the language in the TARP bill, which Congress passed in October 2008, included a provision that would aid small, minority-owned banks such as OneUnited, and the bank received $12 million two months later. That provision, “designed to aid OneUnited,” the Wall Street Journal reported last March, was written into the federal bailout legislation by [Rep. Barney] Frank, who is chairman of the financial-services panel. Mr. Frank has said he inserted the provision to help the only African-American owned bank in his home state. In short, the real scandal here is that the blatant racial favoritism practiced every day, not just here, by Maxine Waters and others is not regarded as a scandal.
