Gress...Has Issues : End Game For Israel?

That was exactly the point I was trying to make. Unfortunately, in this atmosphere, making points is almost a fool's errand. I was hoping to provoke some interest in actual history among some of the reflexive Israel-bashers. On the other hand, it got me to wondering if it is conceivable that a lot of American Jews either don't know or don't care about this history. Even more seriously, how many - both here and in Israel - don't really understand the catastrophic mindset of the Arab enemy?

Gress...Has Issues : Danish Wind Power Bust

Well, the AWEA is a business association, while the IER is a 501(c)3 dedicated to free markets in energy use. AWEA has a board loaded with folks who stand to profit from wind power, while IER opposes wind power on principle. So, the notion that commissioning a study from another institute, in Denmark, is inherently corrupt (denied by CEPOS, of course, which says it does many studies on commission and insists on complete independence). Are they wrong in their conclusions? Maybe. We took a look at your recommended report attempting to rebut those conclusions, and we will publish that, as well, and let the readers decide. Thanks for your concern. &lt;div style="display:block;margin:6px 0 0"&gt;&lt;a class="a2a_dd" href="http://www.addtoany.com/share_save"&gt;<img src="http://static.addtoany.com/buttons/share_save_171_16.png" width="171" height="16" border="0" alt="Share/Save/Bookmark" style="border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; ">

NewsReal Blog : Stumbling Down the Slippery Slope: First Legalized Weed Then Prescription Smack?

We're funding our enemies and undermining our own institutions by continuing prohibition. Nearly all of the problems cited by status quo supporters are caused by the law, not the drugs. Marijuana is not a gateway drug. Heroin addicts can live long and productive lives on prescription 'maintenance doses.' Prohibition floods the world's streets with drug salesmen looking to find new addicts they can live off of. The drug cartels are now better armed than all police departments and some armies. Civilization cannot afford the luxury of this kind of law. Under legalized regulation the most dangerous drugs would mostly disappear from the marketplace as unnecessary and undesirable, like bad wine. Thanks for the post. It's important that the subject be discussed.
