I am sorry you're going thru this again.....you are in our prayers and THANK YOU for sharing with us your life! I think you're beautiful even with the change in appearance! You're right.......societies definition of what is ok is NOT ok :O) We have 4 medically fragile foster/adopt kids and they may not "look" like other kids their ages, but they are more beautiful than anyone can imagine!!! Blessings on you, praying for you and your medical team!!!! Greg, Pam and family in Orting, Washington
Today, our 15 1/2 year old son and I read his speech about "the Promised Land." I believe that Martin Luther King Jr. had the "vision" of what we could be like........we are a work in progress, and I KNOW it is different than in the 60's that I grew up in. The Promised Land is multicultural....all ethnicities......know NO color...respect of cultures. IT IS FOR ALL PEOPLE of EVERY RACE! We must teach our children continually, passing it down from generation to generation hoping/praying they will get closer and closer to THE PROMISED LAND! Pam McGahey - Orting
I think this is awesome! First, you all addressed the issue instead of some parents getting mad and just "leaving!" This is great! Then you all had input and ownership! I love it! I also really like how this flows over to homes........alot of parents never had "examples" to help them parent their kids, and this is a great tool you blessed them with! Way to go!!!
