We need to take back the control and responsibility for a lot of things. I agree with you, parents have to do their job, but government has to be backed out of this part of our lives as well. Also remember, I only used WalMart as an example.
We have to have the power plants. If we are going to be concerned about the nuclear problems, we should be focused on the weapons, where idiots can push buttons for what ever reason and can destroy the planet in a flash. Sure there are risks with power plants and the waste. They are controlled and minimal. We had a safe place to store waste until your Pied Piper shut it down. It will come back to life, we will just have to fight for it.
How did the President shut down the Yucca Mountain project? Isn't this something that had to go before Congress? If it does, did it? If it did, why are the American people being told after the fact? Where is Obama going to put the nuclear waste? Chicago sounds like a better location. This is just one more serious issue the people will have to put back on track.

Swine Flu Vaccine not available? Has anybody noticed that there is none being manufactured in the United States? Why is this? Does everything we depend on have to come from foreign countries? Who set this up to make this a foreign purchase? It just doesn't make sense.

We just got home from the march on DC. I can't remember being so proud of my family, my father, father in-law, husband, son and son in-law are all combat veterans. Talking to WWII vets and others from the other wars and conflicts completed the circle for me today. They have proven time and again they will defend our country no matter how bad our politicians have treated them. God & Country. There is no other place I could have wanted to be today. Thanks to all of you that went to the Tea Parties around the country, thank you to all those that support WE THE PEOPLE that could not go. I promise, your voices were heard through all of us that were able to be there. 2 million of us in DC, wow!!!!!

Well guess what as we passed the capital at about 12:15 on the march, the sign said count that has passed was 1.2 million. We don't know how many more thousands were behind us. All we see all around us is American people wanting their country back, all legislators working for the people. Oh yeah, a lot of WE THE PEOPLE.
