elephant journal: Yoga, Sustainability, Politics, Spirituality. : "But where do you get your protein?"

Somewhere a protein craze was created. Word on the street has it, too much protein causes you to piss out calcium from your bones. It can certainly be difficult to get enough protein as a vegan/ vegetarian. A lot of "meatless protein" options are highly processed and shipped from China, so is a lot of food. I never had the dedication to sprouting beans/ nuts as a vegan. Now I'm a much less gassy omnivore.

Geez louise! Such a long list. and SHEA BUTTER for those feet! We walked around barefoot quite a bit and at night would slather on the shea butter before placing them in socks. Our feet looked better going out. Say hi to the Lamplighters for me y'all!

Nataraja, a teacher at Naropa says smokers are really addicted to pranyama, makes sense! Didnt read the article, but will one day. My dad always says there is so much negativity out there about smoking, better just to say "there is a reward for not smoking".

Woo hoo Nicole! Yes, I have had a bit of a tricky time gaining weight—perhaps because of the high latitude or my stomach being pressed against my lung, but poutine has helped me a lot. Enjoy for us! My favorite in Canada is from Harvey's.

Yes, yes and YES! I actually had a lot of trouble trying to read this book, the narrators voice irked me like no other. I think Drink, Play, Fuck is more my style. When will I have the time to write my memoirs? Good question, but I can't wait to see the line of grasshulaskirts and coconut related items they come out with.

No. Drinking a glass of 1.5% alcohol will not give the child fetal alcohol syndrome at this point, according to my neo-natal specialist and midwives. The gallon I was bragging about was shared around with the other Elephants. It is hard to drink a lot of it, it is seriously potent in ways beyond the alcohol.

After reading this article, I was compelled to listen to her music and was moved to tears! The song about the sunset is EXACTLY what a sun setting sounds like! This is such a neat, inspiring article. The fact that Zoe does little to promote her music and she makes a comfortable living, speaks volumes of it's quality. See you at the show tonight!
