I just will never understand how someone could kill their OWN CHILD! Innocent till proven guilty, sure. Then hang him.
As a mom of young kids, it is heartbreaking to think that you can raise kids the best you can and still loose them at 17 to such a freak accident that could've been prevented by somethings as simple as using a lifejacket. My heart breaks for the family and friends for sure. I will definately being saying an extra few prayers for his loved ones.
He never hurt anyone? How about the thousands of dollars in property damage he did to his victims. And yes they are victims of a criminal act. You most certainly are not a hero for taking something that does not belong to you and then destroying it. It hurts to have your posessions stolen and trashed. Things you have WORKED HARD FOR. He is a coward and a petty theif and I hope he is prosecuted to the fullest. Law abiding citizens should not have to put up with his crap. The only supporters he has are 17 yr old school girls with angst and little boys who aspire for nothing in life other than to commit crime. Bring on the justice I say!
I think your post acaully makes the most sense! I totally agree with you. The "patients" I know also have cards for back pain. Seriously. The decriminalization of medical mj was ment for patients in chronic cancer pain, cronic glaucoma pain, and the like. NOT the ol tennis elbow for crying out loud. These are the pains that come and go and can be treatedin a different way. If I was seeking custody of my children and wanted more time with them, I would seek other options for my pain treatment that comply with THE LAW.

My dear friend Gavin Coffee was killed a few years back from someone who also did not secure a load. He was killed pretty much instantly on I5 in Shoreline on the way to pick his kids up from soccer. His wife was pregnant with their 5th child at the time. This is a GOOD law. It should have been in place years ago, I am waiting for the WSP to enforce it instead of ticketing drivers for going 65 with traffic in a 60. If you are ever behind someone and their load looks questionable - switch lanes get the hell away from that vehicle. Their irresponsibility could take your life leaving MANY people devestated and at a loss for how to move on. RIP Gavin Coffee
This is my neighborhood - I have 3 kids in school at LFP. The LFP police department, MLT police dept and the Shoreline PD ALL have jurisdiction here. The school is about 4 blocks away from the police station. There is just no reason for this. I understand the police cannot be everywhere, but until they can amp up patrols to assure me a safe neighborhood, we will and a lot of my neighboors plan to be very productive to secure our perimeters.
I agree with the above posters who comment that when times are tough we adjust our belt buckle, not look for ways to keep living large. Just goes to show you how out of touch Olympia is with Washington state residents. What is next? Tax the toilet paper because they know everyone uses it and they need the monies to fill a deficit? REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER!
Ok, wait the sea lions will cuff an intruder? I guess I did not know they were capable of such sophisticated efforts, but this sounds like a cartoon! Why not just give them an underwater gun and badge and they can just do the arresting themselves.
