Obama's new appointee, the St. Dept.'s top legal advisor Harold Koh, believes that the US is subject to international law and that we are ALREADY bound by UN treaties!! This is nuts! definitely another push to get the un convention on the rights of the child ratified. so i guess glenn beck accepted a call last week about the un convention on the rights of the child and parental rights! finally! he told the caller they won't air anything until the right time... not sure what that means since there is so much happening under the radar right now. harold koh's appointment is pretty scary since obama obviously likes the fact that he thinks the u.s. is already bound by international law... :p

there is something being done about this.. the parental rights amendment was just introduced in the Senate. we reallllyyyy need to contact our Senators and get them to sign on and protect parents rights from things like the UNCRC

Now is the time!! You are right! there's a parental rights amendment in the Senate (SJR 16) and the House (HJR 42). I think we should bombard the congress with phone calls and visits! Who would be against parents rights??? that's just crazy.

For any homeschoolers reading this... there is a report that was just accepted by the Britain's Children's Secretary, it basically puts an end to homeschool freedom based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child... this could happen in the US if we do what Obama wants and ratify this treaty. copy/past this link for the article: http://www.parentalrights.org/index.asp?Type=B_BA...
