If the state hadn't forgiven all the late fines on the company, then that could go for paying the extra fees. I said it then, and I'll say it again, dump this company, and find one that can do the job, and do it right, and has equipment that can work in anything other than the 2 months of summer around here.
I still wonder if anyone who makes these decisions actually sits in the traffic. 4 lanes, backed all the way up mercer, and we're going to 3... and QA ave turning into a two way at the bottom of the hill... that won't back up at all....
I agree, even with SB, there are so many other coffee shops around (and still starting up), there's room.
I read a story on another site, and it said something about the diver that died may have panicked and was rising too fast. There may not have been anything is buddies could have done for him. If they followed him, they may have put themselves in just as much trouble.
Condolences to the family and friends. At least they found him so that everyone can have closure.
Good luck! I've had that happen not once, but twice to me! Go get 'em!
True, there are many routes out of the city, unfortunately to the south, they're all messed up due to construction. They could have at least staggered these projects at least by a year or two. My family lives to the south and I don't want to travel down there due to all this. :(
Mercer Street is going from 4 to 3 lanes permanently. It's completely shut down this weekend as they shift the traffic over. It's not just a temporary construction closure.
This intersection always floods. Then once the drains up near the memorial stadium plug up, it flows to the 5th and Mercer intersection. Can't the city put this on their list of intersections to check first? It doesn't take much, and it's such a busy intersection cars and pedestrians alike.
The state doesn't wan't to start over, yet the contractor has issues in several other systems that seem to be installed, or in the process as well. So what's the guarantee that we'll be problem free once it's running? Tacoma isn't 100% yet. Cut the cord, find someone else, and get some of our money back (in fines).
