The district doesn't have enough money to pay teachers their full salaries, but they can give away food for free most of the summer?

Who's paying those salaries? Who's paying for the food? Who's eating it?

It's another damned dependency program. "We're doing it for the children." No, you're not! You're doing it to get more grant money, more federal funding, more employees working, more union members paying dues, more people dependent upon government aid. We creating generational dependency.

Does anyone honestly think these kids DON'T get enough food already? My God! Look at all the fatties waddling around campuses in this district! It's disgusting! We should not only NOT give away free food in the summertime. We shouldn't feed them free food during the school year! Let THE PARENTS send their kids to school with food. (Maybe then so much of it wouldn't be wasted.) I can't even afford to give my OWN children the breakfasts I see these students throwing away each day.

Get real, people! THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH!
