Shouldn't online banking servers allow *only* secure connections? It shouldn't matter whether you are on public wi-fi or at home... the Internet itself is considered insecure, so a secure connection should be required.

Yes, and abusers are going to abuse whether or not something is legal. The facts are that cannabis is less intoxicating than alcohol, not addictive and a person cannot overdose. As a matter of fact, it has many health benefits, especially for those who are chronically ill. Honestly, I would rather see alcohol illegal and cannabis legal.

No, not a dope smoker. You're just assuming that. It's not about exceptions, it's about properly interpreting the available data. There is no data that proves that cannabis is a gateway drug. Those who think so are interpreting the data wrong.

Both alcohol, and tobacco tend to precede cannabis use, and it is rare for those who use hard drugs to not have used alcohol or tobacco first. Data from the 2005 National Survey of Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) in the United States found that, compared with lifetime nondrinkers, adults who have consumed alcohol were statistically much more likely to currently use illicit drugs and/or abuse prescription drugs in the past year. Effects were strongest for cocaine (26 times more likely), cannabis (14 times more likely), and psychedelics (13 times more likely). In addition, lifetime drinkers were also six times more likely to abuse or be dependent on illicit drugs than lifetime nondrinkers. As with cannabis, this correlation does not, however, necessarily mean that alcohol is a gateway drug (i.e. a causal relationship). In addition, whether one tries alcohol or cannabis first before the other does not accurately predict later substance use disorders. Why don't you check the facts before you spout your nonsense?

It's not twisted reasoning, it's plain fact. In fact, there are scientific studies that show that there is no causal relationship between cannibis and harder drugs. It is also statistically correct that the majority of cannibis users consumed alcohol and tobacco prior to using cannibis (Data from 2005 National Survey of Drug Use and Health in the United States). This, however, does not prove that there is a causal relationship. I can see, however, that someone uneducated as you are would see it that way. As for real life, I am a father, homeowner, church-goer and make a six figure income. I think I have a good handle on life. keep "looking fo sum ho's"

"Ask any drug counselor how many "hard drug users" started with marijuana? " You cannot make that assumption, because that isn't a scientific study. One could say that all these hard drug users ate pizza as a child, so you can make the assumption that pizza is also a gateway drug. There is no proof that one causes the other. Your statement doesn't take into account how many marijuana users do not become hard drug users. It also makes the asserts that if marijuana didn't exist, then there would be no hard drug users. Let us know if you have any proven, scientific facts to share. Also, it's hard to take someone seriously when his profile says "You guys looking fo sum ho's" You sound like an intelligent guy.
KOMO - Seattle, WA : District suspends hot lunch removal policy | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | News

That's nothing - last year at Tumwater school district my kids were refused lunch altogether when I didn't know their lunch accounts got behind. I was at work about 70 miles away that day, and I received a call from my son telling me that they took his lunch money for that day but didn't serve him. I called the district and they told me they applied it to his account, but since it was behind they wouldn't serve him. I explained that I was too far away that day to be able to take care of the situation right away, but if they would serve my kids then I would send the needed money the next day. They refused and my kids didn't get a lunch. Guess I should have called the news or something. I can't believe that anyone would let a kid go hungry.
