I brought my daughter to Dr. for flu shot and found out her medicaid had been dropped. I had just finally gotten food stamps and was assigned a new caseworker. I called him once a week for 4 weeks leaving all vital info. Never got any response. He could have dropped the paperwork in the mail. I finally just called general help line to re-apply for medicaid for my 2 yr old. Tried for myself also since my husband is on Unemployment and I have diabetes. We don't qualify. I received paperwork saying I had to spend $342 a month just on myself in order to apply for that month only. What???? So, we live on the streets, then I can get my needed medication. I just don't get it.
