I read the title of the article as, "Dozens to GO CAMPING in Boulder to support homeless youth" I have no idea what it's like to be homeless but with the Ritz Carlton of homeless shelters in north Boulder, neither should anyone else...if they just went to the actual shelter.

I'm guessing you've never taken a ride on any part of the Marshall Mesa trail ...the entire trail system over there is great for those of us who don't have time to drive into the mountains after work to hit a trail like Walker or Betasso. Now that Superior finished the loop you can ride 18 miles without ever having to get on the street and once you cross over 93 you have tons more mileage that takes you right into Eldorado Canyon. So would anyone want to ride "this endless wind tunnel"? Because it's amazing!!

I completely agree with this. I took my class about 4 years ago and all I had to do was listen to the instructor talk for about 4 hours. No actual range time or anything like that. I feel comfortable with my level of knowledge due to my prior experience with guns but for someone that has never handled a gun, the level of training was laughable.

Sad to hear this! This was the first place I went to when I moved to Boulder 11 years ago and ended up staying at the extended stay hostel on 13th for about a month until the condo I wanted to rent became available. It was a great service for travelers and transplants.

I'm in the same boat as you in that I used to go about once a month and now I havent been in over a year. I'm just trying to figure out if the bands are "bad" or im just old enough to be out of touch with the early 20's scene...which is when i was going often. When I look at the line ups these days, if I do actually recognize a band name it's not for one that I have much desire to go see. I'm getting old! :-(

you took the short way to getting to the point i was going to try and make above. ;-) so he didn't sell his house for what he thought it was worth and that's the Realtor's fault? it's more likely a function of his unrealistic and delusional expectations of the value of the home. just because you love it and think its the greatest place on earth it doesn't mean buyers are going to feel the same way. also, bank appraisers don't decide what a home will sell for, they decide how much they are wiling to extend themselves and in today's market it isn't for as much as it was 5 years ago.
