For years, we've listened to the absurd line 'I'm not questioning your patriotism......" Well, guess what, NOW IS THE TIME! Anytime an elected leader places party or race/ethnicity above what is best for the nation at large, you MUST question their patriotism TO THEIR FACE. Make them defend their statements and don't let them off with the same garbage they've used in the past. Am I calling Rep. Lewis a liar? Well, based on the evidence, I'd have to say YES! He is, of course, a major figure in the Civil Rights movement in the US and for that he is applauded. But even an achievement like that doesn't prevent you from being wrong..or telling a lie....and being called out for it. Now, if Rush, Sean, Mark, or any one of dozens of conservative leaders in the US would do the same as I did, maybe people would start to see these charletans for what they are. Too bad we didn't have the guts to say it to them a year ago....maybe we'd be a lot better off as a nation and society. It amazes me, however, that NO ONE seems to understand the context of this very funny joke. It is not anti-semetic in the least..unless you want it to be. It isn't anti-Moslem, anti-Islam etc. it is about the fact that things aren't always what they appear to be on the surface. Political correctness is ALL about the surface.....the sizzle...but the MESSAGE...the steak....is what is important.
