Yesterday it was Declan Kyne saying Dublin shouldn't play semis in Croke Park, today it's Donal Lenihan say Munster rugby should play in Pairc Ui Chaoimh - both 'stories' without any meaning or foundation (the clown in the White House would rightly call them 'fake news'). Must be a slow week in RTE's GAA dept - oh wait! the National Leagues start this week........

I don't know how Shane Ross is Minister for Sport. He wouldn't know the difference between a football, a basketball or a rugby ball - even if Kevin McStay was to hit him on the back of the head with all three. Mr Ross should stick to what he knows best - opening closed Garda Stations in the most dangerous parts of South County Dublin.

If a man was accused of domestic violence and being abusive to the police would he get on RTE's world cup panel? Where's the outrage and hue and cry from the feminists now? Given that he was found not guilty Paddy Jackson must be a shoo-in for the rugby panel at next year's world cup.
