What took so long?? When a child is born in Ct, the mother should sign up for a Pediatrician and if she does not bring the baby in than the Peds off ice needs to contact the health department. This way infants are not lost in the system. Sadly, There will always be this problem, however there should be ways we can better protect the little ones that can't protect themselves.
