http://www.conservativehome.com/ : Trick or treat? The Halloween extension.

Apply the Article 50 law as it stands? We invoked it. We have to ask for an extension and get the unanimous agreement from the heads of government of the remaining EU27. But not extending the time limit would effectively chuck us out of the EU, which is why I believe the EU has consistently allowed an extension because they don't want to be painted as the bad guys in this. And they are not.

Fine. You resent my tone. I resent your wilful ignorance and the spreading of disinformation. I do not know if "some" = "many" as the DWP will not give figures. My condolences on the loss of your wife. Nursing someone you love for nine years must have been distressing. I feel that even one disabled person losing monetary resources to help make their lives better is one too many, and distressing.. And I am sure there must be at least two....

Actually, it is true that some people will lose £200 per month. At the moment, if you are a single disabled person living alone, you get about an extra £60 p.w. on your ESA. This disappears when ESA claims are subsumed by UC. Please don't spread your own lies, borne out of ignorance, not maliciousness.
