No one would be better than the men that have seen the results of the "lead from behind" policies of the previous administration. I can see the sense in having civilian (State Dept.) involvement to look beyond the military aspects of any action, diplomatic relationships need to be taken into account, to some degree. As I read the article, I was a little surprised at the people who were interviewed for their military experience, IMO the only one they missed was Wesley Clark to round out the naysayers. I'm afraid the article wasn't very well-balanced. I really took exception to the statement " that the officers' immersion in the wars of the past 15 years have made it hard for them to take broad view of U.S. power and influence in the world that extends beyond armed conflict in the Middle East and South Asia.", how insulting. These men have seen what has worked and what has failed, they know what needs to be done. The State Dept. (hopefully not anyone that worked directly for hillary) will be there to smooth out any rough edges.

Listening to bits of obama's speech after the shooting in Oregon, he said something I have never heard before when he is politicizing mass shootings. " ...We don't yet know why this individual did what he did, and it's fair to say anybody who does this has a sickness in their minds, regardless what they think their motivations may be...". I find this comment disturbing, considering the shooter was asking the religion of his victims. Is he already trying to cover for a muslim terrorist?

Not really, I like that he is bringing what we care about into the mainstream. That said, if it came down to him or Bush in the primary, I'd vote for Trump.

I agree. He keeps saying it's not a sprint, his brother says he's the tortoise. Maybe he thinks his contributions will never dry up, but the reality is, he just sucks, no one likes him except the establishment, and even they are divided. IMO, he has too many strikes against him.

It's not a matter of them hating women, it's a matter of them hating conservatives.

So chuck the schmuck schumer will take a "save my ass" vote on the Iran nuclear deal. Seriously, are his constituents so uninformed they don't see it for what it is? You know the votes have been whipped and counted twice, obama only needs 34 votes in the senate to sustain his promised veto. What it comes down to is 10 democrat or independents can save their asses by voting no and it won't affect the outcome. Another sad day in American history brought to us by barack obama.

I don't know why they returned them at this point, they will be taken again by daesh, or isis whatever you want to call them. I was so freaking heartened to hear that "The world has reacted with outrage and suffered the loss of historical treasures and landmarks at the hands of ISIS ..." . Not near as much outrage about the people suffering at the hands of the reincarnated dog dung, daesh.

The candidates for the Fox News debates are in: Trump, Bush, Walker, Huckabee, Carson, Cruz, Rubio, Paul, Christie, and Kasich (in order they qualified). Tho I haven't decided yet who I would vote for, there are at least two that I absolutely would not, Bush and Christie. I don't think Trump has lasting power, but he has brought a very important issue to the forefront , immigration. He is making the others address it, and frankly it being one of my key issues, I'm very interested in how each candidate will respond. I'm sick of hearing the immigration system is broken, hello, follow the laws on the books. See how simple it would be.

Ewwwwwwww, exposed???? The picture you put in my head will be hard to get rid of. On a serious note, Luis, dem voters don't give a crap about how bad she is and will be, the lies she has told, the laws she has broken, they will still vote for her.

Albrights looks, but hillary's cackle sets her apart (and not in a good way).
