Thanks again and not sure how to stitch SHSH custom file. Is this the same as creating a custom IOS such as this one NO_BB_iPhone2,1_5.1.1_9B206_Restore using Redsnow. If that is the case I have used this file and attempt to restore via ITune, but gets multiple errors. Please, let me know if anything I am missing or need to do.

Thanks for the respond again. I have tried to create a custom IOS 4.3.5 using Redsnow, it gave me an error it will not accepted. However I was able to custom IOS 4.3.3, but I could not restore it using Itune .
Gets error 3194 and I think the hosts file is fine. I am still in the baseband 6.15.xx.
Do I need to downgrad the baseband 5.13.xx to update the IOS to a higher version.
Please, provide suggestion.

From what I understand is that even though I downgrade the firmware to 05.13.04 that I will not be able to update the IOS version higher than the 4.x.x , is this correct? If that is the case can I leave the baseband to 6.15 and update the IOS to a higher 4.x.x custom version?

At one point I was able to downgrade the baseband to 05.13.04 but had issue with cydia not being install, while I was trying to get Cydia install the phone could not get pass activation screen after numerous attempt.
Finally after using an older version Redsnow I was able to get the iphone 3gs backup unlock with the followings
IOS 4.1,
Baseband 6.15
I was wondering if I can install IOS 5.1 on baseband 6.15 if not what is the best option to install higher IOS version without breaking it.
I just don't want to be without a phone again for more than a week. I was hoping someone could provide me a better direction. In case something goes wrong again. I do have the TinyUmbrella but not sure of how to use it..

I am not a big blog guy but you guys are amazing.
I want to thank the Dev Team and everyone who answer people questions.
Also I like to thank to whomever suggested that I used Tinyumbrella to get the iPhone out of the loop.
I was stuck after jail breaking my Iphone 3gs 4.1and was very frustrated.
I have now unlock phone I can use happily.

iphone 3gs stuck at itunes with usb cable after attempting to unlock and jail break using the latest Redsn0w0.9.6b4. I had an ISO 4.1 with base band 5.14.02 which was jail break by limera1n.
I have attempted to restore using itunes but gets the following "The iPhone could not be restored . An known error occurred(1015). I have checked the hosts file and no address for apple.
When run the Redsnow it goes through the process of jailbreaking , then the ram , then install bundles, however after activation, see apple logo then same spot with iTunes with usb cable.
please, help this phone is useless now.
