Sorry no plans for the IPhone, with ongoing health issues plus work and family responsibilities I barely have time to keep supporting the Android version.

There really is no "best" way, the only way to do this efficiently is with the backup (not export) XML format and you would have to know the XML format in order to make the changes effectively. You can drop me an e-mail for more info on the format if you are interested.

If you use the Backup option under the Tools menu this will backup both your customizations and your data. You can then use the file it generates to restore onto a different phone if necessary. Note I recommend mailing the backup to yourself every so often and not just rely on it being stored on the SD Card.

I'm playing around with the way reminders are generated in a future version so hopefully this will address some issues. It's tough for me to test because I find reminders work flawlessly on my stock Nexus One.

Thanks for the suggestion, at some point in the future I may switch to a better graphing library then the simple one I built to support this application. Until then I don't have plans to add this feature as it is a fair amount of work doing the math and calculations figuring out how to display the numbers so they all fit on the screen with the graph.

Thanks for the comment, longer term I'd like to make it so that new types can be added by the user but this is a lower priority activity for me and thus will not be happening for awhile.

Adding different subtypes for the same type has been requested a few times but it's not something I plan on adding at this time as it would be a major undertaking with respect to the relatively few people that ask for it.

The reminders show up in the notification area and you will get a sound depending on what you configured for the notification sound in OnTrack notifications. The notification does not keep nagging in this release, I have added an option to do this for the next release.

The printing is an issue in IE because flot, the graph library I am using, needs to emulate the canvas as IE doesn't support it. I'm going to look into it further both Firefox and Chrome print the graphs fine in my own testing.

Thanks for the comment on the units, that is a good point and one I'll try to address in the next release. With regards to your other questions: a. OnTrack uses whatever you have set on the phone for time format, if you want military time just switch the phone to that in your phone's settings. b. Comments are already available in OnTrack, when adding a new entry click on the Notes tab at the top of the screen.

GExperts - Home : GExperts - OnTrack Updated to 2.5.3 in Market

The problem with the Google health records tool, at least the last time I looked at it, is that it is not well suited to record diabetic records because it doesn't support a time stamp. The Google tool seems much more oriented towards lab results then the day to day testing that diabetics do. Until that changes I have no plans to integrate with it since it would not be very useful to the majority of OnTrack uses.

TechCrunch : Distimo: 57% Of Android Apps Are Free Vs. 28% Of iPhone Apps

My wife has an iPhone and I have a Nexus One so we get to compare notes fairly often. While in general I prefer the Nexus One, the number and general quality of apps available on the iPhone is better IMHO. One obvious example is games, the number of high quality games on the iPhone dwarfs what is available for Android. Some more examples, the Kindle application is better on the iPhone then it is on Android. My wife can easily buy MP3's through iTunes on her iPhone, I cannot on Android as the Amazon MP3 application is not available in Canada and no other alternative seems to exist. There are a large number of companies whose services I use which only have apps for the iPhone and not Android, for example CIBC, a Canadian bank, only has an iPhone application. Another example is to look at the quantity and quality of diabetes applications for the iPhone versus Android.

The even bigger discrepancy, which likely explains why Android has more free apps but also generally lower app quality the iOS, is the fact that Google only allows developers from nine countries to sell apps. If you don't live in one of those countries then you either won't develop for Android or won't waste time on a high quality, high effort type of application when there is little chance of making a return.
