The files you need are iBEC.n88ap.RELEASE.dfu and iBSS.n88ap.RELEASE.dfu. The iBSS one can only be gotten in DFU restore mode, as they said above.
You have to put your phone into DFU restore mode to be able to get your hands on it. To do that you need to connect your phone to your computer, then turn it off. Next, hold down the top button and the home button. After 10 seconds release the top button while still holding the home button. As soon as itunes tells you it detects that the iphone is in recovery mode, you can let go. Congrats, your phone is in DFU restore mode. Do a restore and grab the files like you did before.
Yep, same here. I'm doing it regardless of having the purplera1n file. It's better safe than sorry for sure.
Alight, I did a DFU restore and pulled out two sets of folders. The temporary name likely doesn't matter, so I'll just give the file sizes. First one was exactly 211,690 bytes, containing four files and four folders. Second one was exactly 17,634,869 bytes, containing seven files and four folders. I'm guessing the files we need to be concerned with are in *\Firmware\dfu\? The files in there are named iBEC.n88ap.RELEASE.dfu and iBSS.n88ap.RELEASE.dfu
