Do you know how much water it takes to make ethanol? Let’s look at some more raw data. Did you know that it takes 2,500 gallons of water to produce that one bushel of corn? That’s a lot of water for 2 and half gallons of Ethanol. Let’s take this thinking a step further. If it takes 2,500 gallons of water to create 2.5 gallons of ethanol, then it takes 20,000 gallons of water, to make 20 gallons of Ethanol. Think of it like this, the average firetruck holds up to 1,000 gallons of water. Now imagine 20 firetrucks lined up side by side, that’s how much water it takes to make 20 gallons of Ethanol. It's not easy being green? So tell me, where is all this water going to come from to make all these "renewable fules"? I didn't realize that water was renewable. Then, don't forget, the only way it can be transported is by truck. You can't use piplines, ethanol is corrosive and takes on moisture. That is why it is subsidized because noone would buy it at market price. Darn, there's that nasty captialism again!

Better idea--vote out all liberals and moderates that vote with the liberals. Arlen Specter should go in 2010. But, we have a bigger problem. The open primaries we will have again in Iowa and New Hampshire and others unless the RNC does starts working on that. That means the dems get to choose the republican candidate again in 2012.

A body of 535 people control 300,00,00 million. Take into acount immigration both legal and illegal, the dumbing down of the school system as well as the left indoctrination there, that leaves a smaller pool of thinking people to vote to do the right thing. Pretty soon, they surround us.

CAFE standards don't take into account a growing economy, neither does conservation. If you'll notice, when American cars were large, gas was cheap, the smaller they got, the higher the cost of fuel. The question of energy policy is, what are they going to use for aviation and the military. You'll never be able to come up with a substitute for oil in the near future there. I just read on the Boeing site that a 747 holds 63,000 gal of fuel. So, as we plunge into the "green" fuels and leave oil behind, one can only imagine what happens to world economies. They are tied to oil. Think about it--oil is a NATURAL mineral, is naturally in the ground, with today's technology burns very clean. This is where the libs begin the false argument of co2.

What we really need to do is this: any conservative who watches NBC, CBS OR ABC News must stop so they can dry up and go away, especially before 2012. When you're riding in your car listening to radio, when the top of the hour news is AP, CNN, CBS, ABC or any of these anti-american networks, turn off the radio until the news passes. Let's let the market do to these networks what the market is doing to the "news"papers!

The US Citizenship and Immigration Services state this if the detainees (terrorists) are given asylee or refugee status: Asylee or Refugee Adjustment to Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) Status Overview A refugee or asylee is eligible to apply for lawful permanent resident status in the United States one year after being admitted to the U.S. as a refugee or being granted asylum. Please note that the requirements for adjustment to lawful permanent resident status vary depending on whether you are a refugee or asylee. If you are a refugee, you are required by law to apply for lawful permanent resident status one year after entering the U.S. in refugee status. If you are an asylee, you become eligible to apply for lawful permanent resident status one year after being granted asylum, but you are not required to apply for such status. However, it may be in your best interest to do so." So, if the detainees are given asylee or refugee status, here in Iowa there is a special program http://www.dhs.state.ia.us/refugee/resettlement/d... In other words, if their status becomes asylee or refugee, the benefits may not be called welfare but all the likings of it!

We now have a conservative manifesto: Mark Levin's Liberty and Tyranny. We are now the equivalent in our country of being an hour into the sinking of the Titanic. Anyone of us who grew up in this country has a vested interest in bailing America out morally and spiritually. I feel we got into this mess by not wanting to offend anyone and constantly worrying about what the media said about us, so they would like us. Thank God for leaders of the new revolution like Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity. Also, I realize there are legal citizens that are not born here. Our society is being replaced with those without a sense of history or allegiance to our great country. Alot come to give, some come to take and not give in return. Because we are conservatives, we welcome those who will fight along side of us to return the freedom we have lost. We have lost alot and more so every day. We are going down by the bow and it is up to us, the freedom loving patriots of America to right the course. So my fellow patriots, we must push forward against those who will destroy this great country because, if America goes down, we have nothing left!
