I'm not having the problem everyone else is having here with the PM's comments on droves of arab voters. My analysis would commence with evaluating whether or not the statement is true, and I have heard no one argue that it isn't. That should be the end of it. Why would anyone condemn a politician for asserting a truth that is relevant to the election?
Many of you fail to understand the important point goldberg is making. Most Jews in the Brooklyn ghetto suffer from a mental disease or defect commonly referred to as "being frum". It is Eruv Rav all over again. Every Jew on this planet should get goosebumps over the fact that the PM of Israel was invited by the party in power to address Congress about Iran. Not every group of like-minded people is entitled or deserving of being a nation state. A club, or a political party, or a trade group, or a union, or an autonomous ethnic minority - maybe. At the very least an applicant for international recognition as a nation state should require demonstration of a history of acting like a responsible nation state. Palestinians fail to meet any reasonable criteria for a nation state. Israel is fully capable of fairly governing the Palestinians and giving them complete freedom to be whatever they want to be short of being a nation state. As it stands Israeli Arabs already enjoy more rights and benefits than any other Arabs in the Middle East. If the Arabs will stop trying to kill the Jews, everything will work out to their benefit. As long as they are murderous, they will never achieve anything.
So apparently they can interdate on Shabbat as long as the Gentile half of the duo does the driving? What a "movement"!
