I served as did my family back 2 generations after we arrived here legally before WWII. I drive a garbage truck now and have great medical care. It costs 3500 for a CDL which I had to borrow to pay for because I did not qualify for gov't assistance. It took some work on my part in learnning a skill that would be marketable enough for me to procur a job that offered health insurance. Always remember minimum wage is not forever. If you can't move forward from minimum wage, maybe you should look at what you are offering prospective employers and not denegrate all small business employers. And no I do not work for WM, Allied, Arrow, etc. My boss has 8 trucks and 12 employees and offers company paid insurance. It is funny, in my town Rush and Hannity and Savage are on the main news talk channel. They have Glenn over on the liberal alternative channel that doesn't get good reception unless you are standing in their parking lot. Give you an idea, Tom Harmon comes on after Glenn. Anyhway---wife doesn't see what is coming. She takes the ostrich approach to all of this and gets peeved when i do not follow suit. I don't know. They were associating with people of interest (i love that phrase). The cases that should have been brought against these detainees, like military tribunals, should have happened years ago. Why were military tribunals not allowed to go down in Gitmo? Only stories of religious "persecution". Just remember how they have been treated for the last ten years. Special diets, prayer times, etc. I bet homeless people in their home country get all those benefits.
