I find it curious that a knife used to threaten someone and a drawer it was retrieved from showed no patent or latent fingerprints.

For sure. His wife allegedly performed a s** act and he was in the front seat and didn't know it? I suggest the driver of the car get a letter of recommendation. At least he kept his hands on the wheel and got them all home safe.

The last great generation. A man I would have been proud to call father.

So let's tarnish this Armed Forces Veteran's efforts to stay off welfare by exposing her son's criminal record as if that has anything to do with her determination to be an outstanding community servant by working 2 jobs. If the SP did criminal checks on every name they ran in their newspaper, it would be little more than it already is....fish wrap. At least Derrick spends time with his mother every day. How many other felons do that?

There are no 'real' people in this article but the kid.

That is information Ms. Cook could have easily found out before writing the article.

I miss him terribly. We are indeed just a mode of dust in the morning sky.

Indeed.

That's just the point. Appearance had (has) nothing to do with it nor does one's 'act' of desperation. Ms. Cook fell for it. No surprise there, it sells newspapers. I'm with alazebin....I'm done with it. Hope the kid has a better life. The rest? I could care less about. Spare me anyone's 5 minutes of fame for the sake of attention.

These bleeding heart dramas usually do have another side to them. The writer of this one was obviously more impressed with the youthful appearance of this 'concerned mother' as proof she is news worthy.
