The Melting Pot : Destination Designed!!

Nice thinking!!! But it is only one sided. Why do we youngsters generally neglect the fact that our parents love us more than we love ourselves? Why would they want anything which is bad for us? In their eyes, we are always like kids. No matter whatever our achievements are....they will always be extra-careful for us. We should respect that extra-care rather than criticizing that. No doubt, sometimes even I get irritated for the over-flowing emotions that they show and I go like "Oh come on....I am no more a kid....I'll manage it".....but that's only in my heart....I have never ever said these words to them. Because I know that they are just playing their part. Every time, just before coming back to Chandigarh from my home, my mom reminds me 100 times to take my wallet, mobile charger and not to take the window-seat (in winters) and many more things..... Yes, we have our own dreams. We have the hidden talent. But our parents want us to study. May be because we never represent ourselves well. There....Right there!!! We have a chance to talk to them sensibly and make them understand what we really want. Also, it is our duty to listen to their views patiently and really consider their experience in the subject-matter. I am sure, they'll support us or allow us to give at least one shot!!! It will be an awful play if we just listen to ourself all the time. We might get tricked. My idea is not to criticize you....your post,.....or anybody over here!!!! But I think we need to stop censuring at least our parents as I strongly believe WE ARE NOTHING WITHOUT THEM.

The Melting Pot : Gandhiji Writes a Postcard contest

I think poverty is the biggest challenge and every poor fella in this country says only one thing..... Tumhare jaise humne dekhne wale nahi dekhe Jigar mein kis tarah se ranjo gham pale? nahi dekhe Yahan par saat majhab ka hawaala sab ne dekha hai Kisi ne bhi hamare paun ke chhale nahi dekhe…. Kiran chahu to duniya ke andhere gher lete hain, Meri tarah koi jeeye to jeena bhool jayega..... Kadam uthne nahi paate ke rasta kaat deta hai, Mere malik, tu kab tak aakhir mujhe aajmayega...... Agar toote kissi ka dil, to shab bhar aankh roti hai, Yeh duniya hai gunno ki jisme kaatein piroti hai. Hum apne gaon mein milte hain dushman se bhi ithlakar, Tumhara shehar dekha to badi taklif hoti hai. Humein iss chist se umeed kya thi aur kya nikla, kahan jana hua tha teh aur kahan se raasta nikla. khuda jinko samjte the, woh sheesha the na pathar the, Jisse pathar samjhte the, wohi apna khuda nikla....
