Big Hollywood : Top McCain Advisor on ‘Game Change’: Palin Didn’t Cost Republicans the Election – Obama’s

It would have definitely been a landslide for Obama if Palin was not on the ticket! She brought out many people who didn't like McCain but voted for her. I would have voted for cCain anyway but Palin was my favoirte on that ticket. The Obama campaign grou, the Dems & esp the press were afraid of her & they went after her with all they could. Some people to this day, say she said things that were only said on SNL by Tina Fey. It's a sad state of politics when you have to try to personally destroy your opponent in order to win.

Big Hollywood : Behind the Smears of HBO's 'Game Change'

I like Sarah Palin & I have a lot of respect for her & her family's ability to ignore the criticism of the left. I don't always agree with her but she made it easier for me to vote for Se McCain in 2008! I like Julianne Moore but I am disappointed that even tho she researched the Gov, she learned nothing more than what the left has said & has no respect for what the Gov was able to do in Alaska. I know she resigned but the MSM cntinued hounding her & her family for years after the '08 election & was out to destroy her entirely. I love the fact that she makes the press work for a story. Also, if someone went threw 25,000 of your private emails, would they show no wrongdoings. Oh, their disappointment!! Further disappointment when this HBO special (which I won't watch it) airs.

Big Hollywood : Obama Celeb Wish-List: Jonas Brothers Targeted to Indoctrinate your Kids

OK. These are kids, still. Do you remember the 1st politician you thought was "cool"? For me, it was JFK. I watched the conventions, (back then they weren't shows), I watched the states vote for candidates. These guys & other young Hollywood ppl went for the 1st black President along w/ hope & change. They aren't looking @ policies, they are looking @ the man. They think he's a nice guy & they don't understand why ppl disagree with him. They will learn as they get older. My last Democratic vote was for Robert Dole. As Americans, we look @ the personality before we see the policies. My 37 yr old son voted for Obama in '08 but his" goal for 2012 is to get rid of Obama". Sometimes learning the difference between personalities & policies takes time. I just wish we had more time & an honest press.

I heard the title of the show & figured it was anti American. I look @ the actors & what they have said about Americans b efore I decide to watch a show. My list of actors has grown as they call us racists for disagreeing with the Pres. I no longer watch any of the 'Law & Order' franchise bevause if a soldier is in the story, he becomes the bad guy or was twisted by the government.

Big Hollywood : Post-9/11 Entertainment Culture: How British Television Made Me a Patriot

I am sorry that America was not there for your war against terrorism. We didn't understand what terrorism was until 9/11! I think that Americans looked @ the UK & Ireland fighting as a 'family problem'. I know that British soldiers have been fighting side by side w/ our American military & I have the utmost respect for the British military as well as ours. Michael Yon has written some good stories about your military & all that I have read is how professional they are. Americans have never forgotten about the British military in both Afghanistan & Iraq. As an American, I can say that we don't always see what's going on until we are affected. I am sorry for that!

Big Hollywood : Thank You, Hollywood: 9/11 Television Specials Surprisingly Apolitical

I watched this "On Demand" & missed that question/comment. I was more interested in his personal thoughts about the day. I like the President & wanted to hear his thoughts. I find Mr. Bush (regardless of politics) to be a sincere man who did the best he could in a time when who would have even thought someone would purposely fly a passenger plane into a bldg?? I never believed he lied but that he did what he thought was necessary based on the intelligence in front of him. If he had not followed that intelligence & something happened, he would have been criticized ... "damed if he does; dammed if he doesn't". I also liked his graciousness towards Mr. Obama, even as he blames everything on Bush.

FOX News Radio - News,Politics,Economy : School Lowers American Flag, Elevates Foreign Flag

The American flag should NEVER be under a foreign country's flag, esp here in the USA!!! It has nothing to do with 9/11 & has everything to do with being an American city / state / citizen in the USA. Would you find an American flag above the flag in any other country?? NO!! If you want to recognize the different countries epresented by your students, then take small flags & hang them across the wall in a common room but never in place of the American flag. Of course if your students are American citizens, the American flag s/ suffice. Since when do Americans shy away from the flag? What gas happened to my country???

Big Government : Palin Shines Through the Rain

I watched her Iowa speech on C-Span saturday but what I thought was even better than her 5 points (which were great!) were the conversations with the people who stood in the crowd. She signed whatever was given her to sign & spoke to the people, answererd their questions, had pictures taken as asked, asked kids their age / grade in school. She spoke to young people - boys & girls. So much for Rick Perry's retail political skills. She is better than he is. She has a genuine concern for people she talks to & talks from her heart.

My father was a member of Hoffa's Teamsters 107 in Phila & found the corruption in it. It was this Hoffa's father & when he was in charge, people died on streets of Phila @ the hands of union members who didn't like the fact that you disagreed with them! Doesn't that sound familiar? It should because that's how the Dems react - name calling as tho you could not have a difference of opinion that is sincere & genuine & where the Tea Party is concernced, we have the "Congressional" Black Caucus condeming Americans who disagree with them! The SEIU which beat up a black man who was a member of the St. Louis Tea Party because he was there, a black man part of the Tea Party!

Big Hollywood : Director Steven Bannon Discusses Palin and This Weekend's 'Undefeated’ Pay-Per-View Premiere

I found this movie "On Demand" Saturday morning & watched it. This was what Sen McCain should have used when introducing Gov Palin to the country. I also have to agree with Andrew Breitbart's comments that the Republican men had no guts, incl Sen McCain & while she & her family were being viciously attacked, not one of them came out to defend her! Sen McCain should realize that had it not been for Sarah, he would have lost by more than 6 pts! Now, they all say "Palin can't win" well she's still fighting 'good ole boys'! She left to run for VP w/ an 80% approval rating & when she went back to Alaska, there was no way the dems were going to work with her as they did prior to the '08 election. The left continued to attack her, filing baseless ethics charges that have all been dismissed but the dismissals didn't get same space as charges, They set out to destroy her, financially as well as attempting to destroy her reputation. I understand why she follows her own rules, esp after warching the movie. She can't trust the media or the political elite to ever side with her or speak the truth!!

Big Hollywood : Why Superhero Films Are Failing

The Superhero films are failing because Hollywood is taking America out of the story - exception: Captain America. Look what they did to Superman. Did not use 'truth, Justice & the American Way' which was always part of any Superman TV or Movie until recently! Didn't one comic book even have an American superhero (I forget which one but I think it was Superman) renounce his American citizenship & become a global citizen! They did a similar thing with the last GI Joe movie. GI Joe was always reference to an American soldier but this movie made it a Global xxxx! I will not pay to watch a movie that will only reflect Hollywood values / opinions as they don't match mine! When Capt America was released, countries around the world were given choice to either use 'Capt America - the Last Avenger' or just The Last Avenger! Only 3 countries took Capt America off the title! Who were they? Iran, Korea & I forget the 3rd country but you get the idea! Hollywood hates America & thinks the rest of the world does too. The rest of the world's lefty politicians believe it as do American leftists. Why should I support them??

I just saw this movie yesterday & it was sweet, touching, funny & real. It is the best Hollywood movie I've seen in a long time. I did see 'Larry Crowne" a few weeks ago & despite Hanks politics (not on view in this movie), this was a good story & his charachter could have been someone you know. I like movies that tell actual stories without their politics, Of the 2, Crazy, Stupid Love was the best. My sister & I both agreed that we would go & see this movie a 2nd time. Go & see the movie! You will enjoy it & come out feeling uplifted...

John Bannon paid $1 million of his own money her. I don't know how many people will actually go to movies to see this. I don't see this as a money maker for Bannon or even AMC. AMC is only playing movie @ a limited # of theatres to start. If people come to see it, they may increase # theatres. A movie is not judged on "ratings" as TV does. It is based on # people to go out & see it. They may make a profit but the chances are 50/50 & I heard Bannon say it was a good story which is why he made it - without talking to the Gov herself. He just took the ausio portion of her books (after buying the rights) & Alaska news media info.

This is especially true now that the MSM has gone thru 24,000 of Gov Palin's e-mails while still Gov of Al. Who would have thoughy they would pay all of this money just to go to Juneau, pick up the e-mails (there is a certain amt of satisfaction that Alaska released these in paper, not electronic form costing these media outlets millions of $$$!!!) after trying to destroy her since 2008! Did they think they would find something today that they could not find in 2008?? Oh, Yah! They found that she was a very engaged, hands on governor with a sense of humor & liked by her staff. Oh, she's also a good mother.
I love watching the press chase her, get angry because they aren't getting a schedule from her, spend hours covering her & then complaining about the coverage they are giving her! On top of that, one network tried to get Herman Cain to say it was distracting for him, all the Palin coverage. When asked if he could answer with one word, if the coverage bothered him, Herman Cain said 'Nope!' ... I love it ... the entertainment value in this season of reruns, alone. Sarah owes the MSM nothing. Look how quickly they tried to get dirt on her in Alaska after the VP acceptance speech in '08! They set out to destroy her & her family. When that failed, they distorted her record. She just seems to get stronger. They really are LAME & on top of that, they've learned nothing about her!! Way to go, Sarah! Isn't turnaround fair play?

Will you ever learn? You think Palin is wrong with her 'blood libel" comment?? I don't nor does Mr. Dershowitz or Mayor Koch, both Jewish Dems! W/in hrs of the shooting, with no info on shooter, you & the MSM have put blame on the right for "vitriolic rhetoric". Yet most of language was used by "so-called journalists" (no need 4 facts to put out story!). You blame Palin, talk radio & the right. We can see thru you; liars who can't even wait 24 hrs or let the injured be taken to hospital be4 blaming the right! Palin is right to accuse you all of 'blood libel" since youe you are calling her a murderer! etc. Wouldn't this be VITRIOLIC RHETORIC if said by a conservative? Finally, there would be no discussion if Rep Giffords had 'R' after her name instead of 'D'. FYI: The Daily Kos used a BULLSEYE for all the blue dog dems in June 2008, calling them "SELL OUTS" & Ms. Giffords was on that list. Bet you haven't said that one out loud?
