Dear Dev Team,

I am facing a strange problem since last four days, recently i updated my iphone4 to firmware 4.1 using tiny umbrella and now i am on 4.1 & baseband version 1.59. The problem is that when i receive a call or try making a call the call get connected but i cannot hear anything, i even tried putting it on speaker but still it didn't work.

Then,

I downgraded it to firmware 4.0.1 again using tinyumbrella but here the main problem is same but there is a difference now when i try making the call on the call/ dailing screen the SPEAKER button comes by default pressed and vn i click on it to put it off then i cannot put it on..when i try pressing it again then it just blinks but does not get pressed it same with mute button.

Also, i am able to use EDGE & send SMS plus i am able to make SKYPE calls

I am not able to understand the problem, is it because i upgraded preserving the baseband or is it a hardware fault.

Also, when i repeadtly restart then sometimes it work and then it's fine till the next time it happens again.

PLEASE HELP !!!

Dear Dev Team,

First of all i would like to thank you for all the good work that you have done..God Bless You All.

Ok, now coming to the problem, i have bought 4 iphone4 and all jailbroken & unlocked but out of 4, 3 of them have an issue where i am not able to hear anything properly for my phone's earpiece whereas if i put the call on speaker then i cal hear it properly and same with skype calls.

Is there anybody else who is facing a similar problem???

Also, i will restore all the three phones tomorrow and will post the updates here.

Buddy unfortunately Orange (France) does not support official unlocking of iphone 3gs, you will have to wait for dev team to release a unlocking solution to the present firmware.

T-Mobile is also an American service provider and in my country i am sure no provider has micro sim facility at present but anyways the most favorable solution at present will be to cut down the normal sim into it a micro sim, as suggested by dhlizard & Intherapy.

Dear Dev Team,

According to the new leaked pictures of iphone prototype, Iphone 4G will not support the normal sim card, it will support the Micro SIM card same like ipad (Check out the sim tray, it micro).

Now i am worried that no other provider expect AT&T and other authorized carriers will issue/make a Micro SIM card, so what will we do, as in our country it will be released after 1-2 years after the US launch..

Kindly start thinking of the solution to this problem as well, coz this will be 1000 times bigger problem than accidental updates of 3.1.3......

Can i use redsnow 0.9.4 to install/restore my iphone with 3.1.2 firmware.

Iphone Details :

iphone 3gs (new bootrom) not updated to 3.1.3, it got crashed and presently is stuck on restore screen?

Also, i tried it but it is get stuck on the screen which displays a "Disk with green arrow". can anybody help in resolving this issue.

Did i ask about the unlock/JB date? the answer is No

What i asked was about the release date of original firmware 3.2 (Not 3.1.3) which apple has to release, not the dev team.

So what ever you wrote in your reply to my post didn't make sense. You can surely post your reply in another post where people are asking about the unlock/JB date but not in my post as here it has no relevance.

Was there a need to write such a comment as i didn't pester anyone including the dev team and ask them about a release date.I just asked about the release of the firmware not the unlock or JB..

For your kind information, Nobody asked devteam to make an unlock/JB, they did it out their own wish because they wanted to help people and because of it people have started relying on them. there is no question of entitlement.

If you have anything to comment or pour out us anguish i would suggest you to do that on a post/comment which talk about your problem not my comment.
